耶穌曰、爾不識經、及天主之大能、豈非因此而謬乎、

耶穌曰：『爾等不明經義、不識主之大能、是以惑歟！

Jesus replied,“ Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?

Jesus replied,“ You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures. And you do not know the power of God.

Jesus said to them,“ Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?

Jesus said unto them, Is it not for this cause that ye err, that ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?

Jesus told them,“ Are you not deceived because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God?

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Jesus said to them,“ Aren’t you deceived for this reason, because you don’t know the scriptures or the power of God?

Jesus answered them,“ Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God?

and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. (niv)
