And Jesus said to them,“ Pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were utterly amazed at Him.

And Jesus answered and said to them,“ Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at Him.

And Jesus said unto them, Render unto Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled greatly at him.

Pay your obligations to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes, tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect, and honor to those you owe honor.

And do not offer any parts of it to sin as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.

“ Yes,” he said. When he went into the house, Jesus spoke to him first,“ What do you think, Simon? Who do earthly kings collect tariffs or taxes from? From their sons or from strangers?”“ From strangers,” he said.“ Then the sons are free,” Jesus told him.“ But, so we won’t offend them, go to the sea, cast in a fishhook, and take the first fish that you catch. When you open its mouth you’ll find a coin. Take it and give it to them for Me and you.”

My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.

When you make a vow to God, don’t delay fulfilling it, because He does not delight in fools. Fulfill what you vow.Better that you do not vow than that you vow and not fulfill it.

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.

And when the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.

But if all are prophesying and some unbeliever or uninformed person comes in, he is convicted by all and is judged by all.The secrets of his heart will be revealed, and as a result he will fall facedown and worship God, proclaiming,“ God is really among you.”

“ A son honors his father, and a servant his master. But if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is your fear of Me? says Yahweh of Hosts to you priests, who despise My name.” Yet you ask:“ How have we despised Your name?”

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;for we are unable to stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

He frustrates the schemes of the crafty so that they achieve no success.He traps the wise in their craftiness so that the plans of the deceptive are quickly brought to an end.

For Christ’s love compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If One died for all, then all died.And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised.

Don’t you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left Him and went away.

Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the Emperor.

No one was able to answer Him at all, and from that day no one dared to question Him anymore.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
