梓人所棄。竟成隅石。主之所為。神妙莫測。

斯石於爾等信賴之者、實為至寶。然於不信之徒、則曰：『梓人所棄、竟成隅石。』又曰：『此為躓石、觸之必蹶。』若輩不順天主之道、宜其蹶也、亦定命耳。

經云：『慎之哉、余以躓人之石、礙人之磐、置於西温；惟能置信者、決不失望。』顧義塞人則見躓於斯石矣。

耶穌者即「梓人所棄、竟成隅石」者是。舍彼而外、別無救主；普天之下、更無其他名義、可恃以獲救恩。』

耶穌曰：『經云、「梓人所棄、乃成基石；主之所為、神妙莫測；」爾豈未寓目耶？

耶穌目之曰：『然則經中所云：梓人所棄、竟成隅石、果何謂乎？凡躓於斯石者、受傷必重、斯石而隕於其身、體則糜矣。』

此聖宅、以宗徒先知為基、而有耶穌基督親充隅石；石上廣廈、經營正殷、結構日精、而規模日宏、駸駸乎將因主而成為聖殿矣。爾等亦為此廣廈之一部、聖神所建於同一隅石之上、以供天主之居停者也。

乃謂耶穌曰：『爾不聞若輩所言乎？』耶穌答曰：『聞也；然爾豈未讀「卻從赤子乳香口、引出千秋美譽芳。」』

耶穌應曰：『爾曹未讀大維及其從者飢時之所為乎？

耶穌對曰：『爾未讀經耶？經言「造化主之創人也、肇造一男一女」

論死者之復活詎未讀天主所曉示於爾者乎？天主曰：

且爾豈未讀摩西棘叢篇所記天主之言乎？上主謂摩西曰：「吾為亞伯漢之上主、伊灑格之上主、雅谷伯之上主；」

對曰：『經載大維及從者飢時所為事、爾豈未寓目耶？

惟見慘無人道之事、入禁地（讀者其深味斯言、）則在猶太者當避入深山、

耶穌對曰：『爾豈未讀大維及從者飢時之所為乎？
