倘有人詰爾、因何行此、則曰、主需之、即許爾牽之、

如有人問故、第曰：「主需一用、即當歸還。」』

If anyone asks you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”

大地和其中所充滿的，世界和住在其中的，都屬於耶和華，

在你掌權的日子，你的子民都甘心奉獻自己；你的少年人以聖潔為裝飾，如黎明初曉時的甘露歸屬你。

神藉著耶穌基督——這一位就是萬有之主——傳和平的福音，把這話語賜給了以色列子民。

因為你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典：他雖然富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，好使你們藉著他的貧窮可以成為富足。

他們就禱告說：「主啊，你洞察每個人的心。求你從這兩個人中，指明你所揀選的是哪一位，

也不受人手的服事，好像缺少什麼似的，因為他自己把生命、氣息和萬有賜給萬人。

他會給你們看樓上一間預備好的大房間。你們就在那裡為我們預備吧。」

你使他暫時比天使低微；你賜他榮耀和尊貴為冠冕；你使萬有都服從在他的腳下。」既然神使萬有都服從他，就沒有留下一樣不服從他；但如今，我們還沒有看見萬有都服從他。不過我們看見的是：那暫時比天使低微的耶穌，因著死亡的痛苦被賜予榮耀和尊貴為冠冕，好使他藉著神的恩典，替所有的人嘗了死的滋味。
