Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

只是在你们中间，不是这样。你们中间，谁愿为大，就必作你们的用人；

但是在你们中间，不可这样。你们中间谁愿为大，就要作你们的用人；

但是在你们中间，不可这样。你们中间谁愿为大，就要作你们的用人；

但你们不可这样。你们中间谁要当首领，谁就要做大家的仆人；

但你们中间却不要这样；谁想在你们中间为大的，就要作你们的仆役，

但你们当中却不是这样；相反，无论谁想在你们当中为大，谁就该做你们的仆人；

惟爾中不然、凡欲為大者、必為爾役、

爾曹不可、爾中欲為大者、當為爾役、

惟爾曹不可如是、爾曹中欲為大者、當為爾役、

爾中則不應若是。爾中孰願為大、當為爾役；

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

Don’t be like that. Instead, anyone who wants to be important among you must be your servant.

But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,

But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,

But it is not so among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you will be your servant,

But it is not this way among you; rather, whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant;

But it is not so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister;

But it must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:

But it is not this way among you. Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.

But you, do not be called‘ Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—

And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them,“ If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

and said to them,“ Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”

For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for“ God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.“ I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled,‘ He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.’

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Jesus answered,“ My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
