『茲吾曹上耶路撒冷、人子將被付于經生長老司祭長。若輩將擬之于死付諸異邦人、

“ We are going up to Jerusalem,” he said,“ and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles,

“ Listen,” he said,“ we’re going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. They will sentence him to die and hand him over to the Romans.

他們把耶穌捆起來帶走，交給總督彼拉多。

你們怎麼看？」他們回答說：「他是該死的！」

耶穌開始教導他們說：「人子必須受很多苦害，被長老們、祭司長們和經文士們棄絕，並且被殺，然後在第三天要復活。」

亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神，也就是我們祖先的神，已經榮耀了他的僕人耶穌。你們竟然把他交出去，並且在彼拉多判定要釋放他的時候，在彼拉多面前拒絕了他。你們拒絕了神聖、公義的那一位，而要求釋放一個殺人犯給你們。

耶穌上耶路撒冷去的時候，在路上單獨把十二個門徒帶到一邊，對他們說：「看，我們現在上耶路撒冷去，人子將被出賣給祭司長們和經文士們。他們要定他死罪，並且要把他交給外邦人去戲弄、鞭打、釘上十字架；然後在第三天，他要復活。」

從那時候起，耶穌開始向他的門徒們指示他必須到耶路撒冷去，經受長老們、祭司長們和經文士們的很多苦害，並且被殺，然後在第三天要復活。

他們聚集在加利利的時候，耶穌對門徒們說：「人子將要被交在人的手中。他們要殺害他，然後在第三天，他要復活。」門徒們就極其憂傷。

耶穌回答：「如果權柄不是從上面賜給你的，你就對我沒有任何權柄。所以，把我交給你的人有更大的罪。」

實際上，住在耶路撒冷的人和他們的首領們都不認識這一位，也不明白每逢安息日所誦讀的先知們的話，就把他定罪，從而應驗了這些話。

那時，他教導自己的門徒們，對他們說：「人子被交在人的手中，他們要殺害他。然後被殺之後，在第三天他要復活。」

但他們卻一直喊叫說：「釘上十字架！把他釘上十字架！」

你們都聽見了這褻瀆的話。你們怎麼看？」他們都判定他是該死的。

於是他們全體民眾就起來，把耶穌帶到彼拉多面前，開始控告耶穌，說：「我們發現這個人在敗壞我們的同胞，阻止納稅給凱撒，還自稱是基督、是王。」

耶穌把十二使徒帶到一邊，對他們說：「看，我們現在上耶路撒冷去，那藉著先知們所寫的一切有關人子的事，都要成就。要知道，他將被交給外邦人，被戲弄、受凌辱、被人吐唾沫；他們要鞭打他，並殺害他；然後在第三天，他要復活。」

你們把義人定了罪、把他殺害了，他沒有抗拒你們。

他們把耶穌從該亞法那裡帶到總督府，那時是清晨。他們為了不被汙穢，能吃逾越節的晚餐，就沒有進入總督府。

「看，現在我靈裡受到催逼，要去耶路撒冷。我不知道在那裡將會遇到什麼事，

他不在這裡，已經復活了！你們當想起他還在加利利的時候怎樣告訴你們，說『人子必須被交在罪人手中，被釘十字架，然後在第三天復活。』」

一到清晨，祭司長們就與長老們、經文士們以及全議會的人商議對策，然後把耶穌捆起來帶走，交給彼拉多。

又說：「人子必須受很多苦害，被長老們、祭司長們和經文士們棄絕，並且被殺，然後在第三天復活。」
