The disciples were even more amazed. They said to each other,“ Then who can be saved?”

諸徒益異、而相告曰：『然則誰能獲救乎？』

The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other,“ Who then can be saved?”

And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him,“ Then who can be saved?”

The disciples were astounded.“ Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked.

They were even more astonished, saying to one another,“ Then who can be saved?”

And they were even more astonished, and said to Him,“ Then who can be saved?”

And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves,“ Who then can be saved?”

And they were astonished exceedingly, saying unto him, Then who can be saved?

So they were even more astonished, saying to one another,“ Then who can be saved?”

And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

They were even more astonished and said to one another,“ Then who can be saved?”

They were exceedingly astonished, saying to him,“ Then who can be saved?”

Are they serving Christ? I am serving him even more. I’m out of my mind to talk like this! I have worked much harder. I have been in prison more often. I have suffered terrible beatings. Again and again I almost died.

Say with your mouth,“ Jesus is Lord.” Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved.With your heart you believe and are made right with God. With your mouth you say what you believe. And so you are saved.Scripture says,“ The one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”( Isaiah 28:16)There is no difference between those who are Jews and those who are not. The same Lord is Lord of all. He richly blesses everyone who calls on him.Scripture says,“ Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”( Joel 2:32)

People were really amazed.“ He has done everything well,” they said.“ He even makes deaf people able to hear. And he makes those who can’t speak able to talk.”

Those who heard this asked,“ Then who can be saved?”

They replied,“ Believe in the Lord Jesus. Then you and everyone living in your house will be saved.”

Then he climbed into the boat with them. The wind died down. And they were completely amazed.

Someone asked him,“ Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them,
