曰、彼其之子、輕上帝之能力、恃一己之貨財、強悍作惡兮、

爾自稱富有、無所匱缺、不知爾實困苦貧乏、瞽目裸身、

小子、我暫偕爾、爾將尋我、我往之所、爾不得至、昔告猶太人者、今亦以告爾、

爾貪不義之利、以富其家、營巢甚高、求免災害、禍必不遠、

以爾智慧、得諸貨財、藏金銀於府庫、巧於貿易、日臻富厚、因而心驕、

毋注目浮榮、蓋貨財之去、速如鷹飛、鼓翼而沖天。

耶和華曰、賢者毋自其誇賢、能者毋自矜其能、富者毋自炫其富。

𠵽唎㘔之好利者、聞斯言、哂之、

耶穌曰、小子、有餚乎、曰、無、

門徒聞之、甚奇、曰、然則誰得救耶、

遂設譬曰、有富人、土地蕃殖、慮曰、我有物產、無處可儲、將若何、又曰、必毀我倉、建其大者、以儲百穀貨物、如此其可也、乃自謂曰、我有多物、積為歷年之用、此心可安然飲食喜樂也、上帝曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾魂、則所備者誰歸、凡積財於己、而上帝前不富有者、亦如是、○

我耶和華震怒之日、彼有金銀、不得贖其生命、我怒憤烈、必毀斯土、所居之民、必猝然殄絶之焉。

小子乎、爾由上帝出、與爾心交者、較與世心交者尤大、故爾能勝之、

聞者曰、然則誰得救乎、曰、人所不能上帝能之、

爾即財貨豐饒、勿以為樂、況虐人奪人、更不可以此浮財自恃、

富人視財若鞏固之邑、高峻之垣。

小子、慎毋拜偶像、

耶和華兮、手援拯我、斯世害予兮、爾其免我、乃彼至今兮、反得福祜、富有兮豐亨、寖昌兮寢熾、業遺於子孫、

彼恃貨財、誇豐富兮、然生命將絕、雖有密友不能贖之、而上帝錫以齡兮、

小子乎、我復為爾劬勞、迨基督凝於爾心、

我不以金為寶、亦不以兼金為可恃。雖財貨豐饒、弗以為樂。
