倚仗自己财物的，必跌倒；义人必发旺，如青叶。

嗐！你们这些富足人哪，应当哭泣、号啕，因为将有苦难临到你们身上。你们的财物坏了，衣服也被虫子咬了。你们的金银都长了锈；那锈要证明你们的不是，又要吃你们的肉，如同火烧。你们在这末世只知积攒钱财。

你要嘱咐那些今世富足的人，不要自高，也不要倚靠无定的钱财；只要倚靠那厚赐百物给我们享受的神。

说：“看哪，这就是那不以神为他力量的人，只倚仗他丰富的财物，在邪恶上坚立自己。”

你说：我是富足，已经发了财，一样都不缺；却不知道你是那困苦、可怜、贫穷、瞎眼、赤身的。

小子们，我还有不多的时候与你们同在；后来你们要找我，但我所去的地方你们不能到。这话我曾对犹太人说过，如今也照样对你们说。

为本家积蓄不义之财、在高处搭窝、指望免灾的有祸了！

你靠自己的智慧聪明得了金银财宝，收入库中。你靠自己的大智慧和贸易增添资财，又因资财心里高傲。

你岂要定睛在虚无的钱财上吗？因钱财必长翅膀，如鹰向天飞去。

耶和华如此说：“智慧人不要因他的智慧夸口，勇士不要因他的勇力夸口，财主不要因他的财物夸口。

法利赛人是贪爱钱财的；他们听见这一切话，就嗤笑耶稣。

耶稣就对他们说：“小子！你们有吃的没有？”他们回答说：“没有。”

门徒听见这话，就希奇得很，说：“这样谁能得救呢？”

就用比喻对他们说：“有一个财主田产丰盛；自己心里思想说：‘我的出产没有地方收藏，怎么办呢？’又说：‘我要这么办：要把我的仓房拆了，另盖更大的，在那里好收藏我一切的粮食和财物，然后要对我的灵魂说：灵魂哪，你有许多财物积存，可作多年的费用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快乐吧！’神却对他说：‘无知的人哪，今夜必要你的灵魂；你所预备的要归谁呢？’凡为自己积财，在神面前却不富足的，也是这样。”

当耶和华发怒的日子，他们的金银不能救他们；他的忿怒如火必烧灭全地，毁灭这地的一切居民，而且大大毁灭。

小子们哪，你们是属神的，并且胜了他们；因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。

听见的人说：“这样，谁能得救呢？”耶稣说：“在人所不能的事，在神却能。”

不要仗势欺人，也不要因抢夺而骄傲；若财宝加增，不要放在心上。

富足人的财物是他的坚城，在他心想，犹如高墙。

小子们哪，你们要自守，远避偶像！

耶和华啊，求你用手救我脱离世人，脱离那只在今生有福分的世人！你把你的财宝充满他们的肚腹；他们因有儿女就心满意足，将其余的财物留给他们的婴孩。

那些倚仗财货自夸钱财多的人，一个也无法赎自己的弟兄，也不能替他将赎价给神，

我小子啊，我为你们再受生产之苦，直等到基督成形在你们心里。

“我若以黄金为指望，对精金说：你是我的倚靠；我若因财物丰裕，因我手多得资财而欢喜；

他的门徒中有好些人听见了，就说：“这话甚难，谁能听呢？”
