Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him.“ There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him.“ Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him,“ You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him,“ One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him,“ One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Then, looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him,“ You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

As Jesus looked at him, he felt love for him and said,“ You lack one thing. Go, sell whatever you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

時耶穌謂門徒曰、凡欲從我者當克己、負十字架而從我、

且變產以分眾、視各人所乏、

守全律法而犯一誡、即犯諸誡、

當售爾所有以施濟、為己備常新之囊、及不匱之財在天、即盜不至、蠹不壞之處、

然猶有可責爾者、因爾始初之愛淡漠矣、

當諭此世之富者、心勿驕傲、勿恃無定之財、惟恃永生天主、厚賜我眾百物以享之、故命富者為善、積累美事、喜於施舍、樂於濟眾、如是、為己積善作基、以備厥後可得永生、○

然尚有稍可責爾者、因爾中有從巴蘭教者、昔巴蘭教巴拉克、誘惑以色列人食祭偶像之物、且行淫、

雖我愈愛爾、愈不見爾愛我、我仍為爾靈魂、甘於費財盡己、

然尚有稍可責爾者、因爾容彼自稱為先知之婦耶洗別教異端、誘我僕行淫、食祭偶像之物、

耶穌曰、爾欲純全、往鬻所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來從我、

蓋我在縲絏之中、爾體恤我、或作蓋人在縲絏爾體恤之人奪爾業、爾忍之而喜、自知在天有愈美恆在之業、

得不壞不玷不衰之業、即為我儕有原文抄本我儕作爾曹藏於天者、我儕以信賴天主大力、得保守以獲末世所將顯之拯救、

但所需者惟一、瑪利亞已擇不可奪之善業業原文作分矣、

勿積財於地、彼有蠹蝕朽壞、有盜穿窬而竊、當積財於天、彼無蠹蝕朽壞、亦無盜穿窬而竊、蓋爾財所在、爾心亦在焉、

遂召眾與門徒曰、人欲從我、則當克己、負其十字架而從我、

欲事我者、當從我、我所在、事我者亦在、人若事我、我父必貴之、

又謂眾曰、人欲從我、則當克己、日負其十字架而從我、

天國又如寶、藏於田、人遇之、則秘之、喜而歸、售其所有以購此田、○天國又如商人求美珠、遇一珠、值昂貴、遂往售其所有以購之、○

既為子則為嗣、即天主之嗣、與基督同為嗣、我儕若與之同苦、亦必與之同榮、○我思今時之苦、若較將顯於我中之榮、不足為意也、

我告爾、以不義之財結友、至爾匱時、彼亦接爾於永宅矣、

耶穌聞之曰、爾猶缺一、悉鬻所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來從我、

既近見城、為之哭曰、

凡欲從基督耶穌而虔敬度日者、必受窘逐、

當求得真理、智慧、訓誨、達道、永守莫失、莫失原文作不鬻

蓋主曾曰、彼乃我民我子、必不違逆、必不違逆或作必不行詭詐如是、主為其救主、彼遭患難、主亦憂戚、使當前之使者拯救之、發慈愛矜恤以贖之、在古昔之時、恆提攜之、保抱之、惟彼悖逆、使主之聖神懷憂、主則視之如敵而攻擊之、

我以此告爾、為使爾因我而安、在世爾必遇患難、然爾毋懼、我已勝世矣、

其中無窮乏者、蓋有田宅者、鬻而攜其金、置使徒足前、視各人所需而分予之、○時有利未人、生於居比魯、名約西、使徒稱之為巴拿巴、譯即勸慰子、有田鬻之、攜其金、置使徒足前、

少者示劍、因愛雅各女、故急行其事不緩、示劍在父家最為尊貴、
