And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when[ his] disciples saw[ it], they rebuked them.But Jesus called them[ unto him], and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that[ is] in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,[ even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.

We will not hide[ them] from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.Ye[ are] blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

As concerning the gospel,[ they are] enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election,[ they are] beloved for the fathers’ sakes.

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

For if the firstfruit[ be] holy, the lump[ is] also[ holy]: and if the root[ be] holy, so[ are] the branches.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they[ are] the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

This[ is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which[ is] not of thy seed.He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched[ it] out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband,[ I will not go up] until the child be weaned, and[ then] I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.
