他因他們的不信而覺得希奇。便周遊四圍村莊教訓人去了。

耶穌講完了這些話，就離開加利利，來到約但河外、猶太的境界。許多羣眾人跟着他；他就在那裏治好了他們。法利賽人上耶穌跟前來，試探他說：『人因了任何緣故離棄妻子，可以不可以？』耶穌回答說：『難道你們沒有誦讀過，創造主從起初造人，是有男有女的；又說：「為這緣故、人必離開父親和母親，同他的妻子膠結，兩個人就成為一體」麼？這一來，他們就不再是兩個，而是一體了。所以上帝所配偶的，人不可分開。』法利賽人就對耶穌說：『那麼摩西為甚麼囑咐人給離婚書便可以離婚呢？』耶穌對他們說：『是為着你們的硬心、摩西才准許離婚的；從起初卻不是這樣。我告訴你們，凡離棄妻子，同另外一個人結婚的，若不是為了淫亂的緣故，就是犯姦淫。』門徒對耶穌說：『人和妻子的關係既是這樣，結婚就無益了！』耶穌對他們說：『這話不是一切人都能接受的，乃是賜給誰，誰就能接受。因為有閹人是從母胎生下來就這樣的；有閹人是被閹的；也有閹人是為天國的緣故自己閹的。能接受的，讓他接受。』

耶穌就用比喻教訓了他們許多事。當教訓的時候，他對他們說：

耶穌在全加利利周遊着，在他們的會堂裏教訓人，宣傳天國的福音，治好了民間的各樣疾病、各樣病症。

耶穌又出去，到了海邊；全羣的人都到他那裏；他就教訓他們。

耶穌出了船，看見一大羣人，就憐憫他們，因為他們像羊沒有牧人一般；就教訓他們許多事。

再者，傳道人除了做智慧師之外，他還繼續將知識教訓一切人；他又衡量，又考查，又編撰許多箴言。

他們是以背向着我，不是以面；我雖教訓他們，又及時又屢次地教訓，他們卻不聽而接受管教；
