耶稣又出去到了湖边。有一大群人围拢过来，祂就教导他们。

许多人因为见过耶稣治病的神迹，就跟随了祂。

但他们出去后把祂所行的事传遍了那一带。

因为有许多悖逆之人喜欢空谈，善于欺骗，尤其是那些奉行割礼的人。

守卫收下钱，便依照吩咐去做。于是，这说法在犹太人中一直流传到今天。

结果耶稣的名声传得更广了，成群的人聚集到祂那里听祂讲道、求祂医病。不过，祂还是常常退到旷野去祷告。有一天，耶稣在教导人，旁边坐着来自加利利、犹太和耶路撒冷各地的法利赛人和律法教师，主的能力伴随着耶稣，使祂能医治病人。

耶稣和门徒退到湖边，有一大群人从加利利来跟随祂。

几天后，耶稣回到迦百农。祂在家的消息一传开，立刻有许多人蜂拥而来，连门外也挤满了人。耶稣正给他们讲道的时候，

耶和华啊，我要回想你的作为，回想你从前所行的奇事。
