A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

A man who had a skin disease came to Jesus. On his knees he begged Jesus. He said,“ If you are willing to make me‘ clean,’ you can do it.”

And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him,“ If you will, you can make me clean.”

A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed.“ If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said.

Then a man with leprosy came to him and, on his knees, begged him,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

And a man with leprosy* came to Jesus, imploring Him and kneeling down, and saying to Him,“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And there cometh to him a leper, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him:“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Now a leper came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help.“ If you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.

A leper came to him, begging him, kneeling down to him, and saying to him,“ If you want to, you can make me clean.”

And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying,“ Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying,“ I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.And Jesus said to him,“ See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying,“ Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying,“ I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him.And He charged him to tell no one,“ But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.”

Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him,“ Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”

And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:“ When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling, a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes on the skin of his body like a leprous sore, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.The priest shall examine the sore on the skin of the body; and if the hair on the sore has turned white, and the sore appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is a leprous sore. Then the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean.But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate the one who has the sore seven days.And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day; and indeed if the sore appears to be as it was, and the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him another seven days.Then the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and indeed if the sore has faded, and the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a scab, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.But if the scab should at all spread over the skin, after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen by the priest again.And if the priest sees that the scab has indeed spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy.“ When the leprous sore is on a person, then he shall be brought to the priest.And the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the swelling on the skin is white, and it has turned the hair white, and there is a spot of raw flesh in the swelling,it is an old leprosy on the skin of his body. The priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not isolate him, for he is unclean.“ And if leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the sore, from his head to his foot, wherever the priest looks,then the priest shall consider; and indeed if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. It has all turned white. He is clean.But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.

And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”Jesus said to him,“ If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

“ Take heed in an outbreak of leprosy, that you carefully observe and do according to all that the priests, the Levites, shall teach you; just as I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.Remember what the Lord your God did to Miriam on the way when you came out of Egypt!

Let it rest on the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and let there never fail to be in the house of Joab one who has a discharge or is a leper, who leans on a staff or falls by the sword, or who lacks bread.”

And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.So Aaron said to Moses,“ Oh, my Lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb!”So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying,“ Please heal her, O God, I pray!”Then the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.And they lifted up their voices and said,“ Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”So when He saw them, He said to them,“ Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.So Jesus answered and said,“ Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”And He said to him,“ Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed,

Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Then the king of Syria said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing.Then he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which said, Now be advised, when this letter comes to you, that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy.And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said,“ Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me.”So it was, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying,“ Why have you torn your clothes? Please let him come to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.”Then Naaman went with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the door of Elisha’s house.And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying,“ Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.”But Naaman became furious, and went away and said,“ Indeed, I said to myself,‘ He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said,“ My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you,‘ Wash, and be clean’?”So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.And he returned to the man of God, he and all his aides, and came and stood before him; and he said,“ Indeed, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, except in Israel; now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.”But he said,“ As the Lord lives, before whom I stand, I will receive nothing.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.So Naaman said,“ Then, if not, please let your servant be given two mule-loads of earth; for your servant will no longer offer either burnt offering or sacrifice to other gods, but to the Lord.Yet in this thing may the Lord pardon your servant: when my master goes into the temple of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow down in the temple of Rimmon— when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the Lord please pardon your servant in this thing.”Then he said to him,“ Go in peace.” So he departed from him a short distance.But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said,“ Look, my master has spared Naaman this Syrian, while not receiving from his hands what he brought; but as the Lord lives, I will run after him and take something from him.”So Gehazi pursued Naaman. When Naaman saw him running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him, and said,“ Is all well?”And he said,“ All is well. My master has sent me, saying,‘ Indeed, just now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the mountains of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of garments.’”So Naaman said,“ Please, take two talents.” And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and handed them to two of his servants; and they carried them on ahead of him.When he came to the citadel, he took them from their hand, and stored them away in the house; then he let the men go, and they departed.Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him,“ Where did you go, Gehazi?” And he said,“ Your servant did not go anywhere.”Then he said to him,“ Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants?Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.

Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another,“ Why are we sitting here until we die?

The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

( for Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it, knelt down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven);

Then the Lord struck the king, so that he was a leper until the day of his death; so he dwelt in an isolated house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the royal house, judging the people of the land.
