A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

A man who had a skin disease came to Jesus. On his knees he begged Jesus. He said,“ If you are willing to make me‘ clean,’ you can do it.”

And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him,“ If you will, you can make me clean.”

A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed.“ If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said.

Then a man with leprosy came to him and, on his knees, begged him,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came to him who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he bowed down with his face to the ground and begged him,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”So he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying,“ I am willing. Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.Then he ordered the man to tell no one, but commanded him,“ Go and show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Now as Jesus was starting out on his way, someone ran up to him, fell on his knees, and said,“ Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:“ When someone has a swelling or a scab or a bright spot on the skin of his body that may become a diseased infection, he must be brought to Aaron the priest or one of his sons, the priests.The priest must then examine the infection on the skin of the body, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of the body, then it is a diseased infection, so when the priest examines it he must pronounce the person unclean.“ If it is a white bright spot on the skin of his body, but it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair has not turned white, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the infection for seven days.The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if, as far as he can see, the infection has stayed the same and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to quarantine the person for another seven days.The priest must then examine it again on the seventh day, and if the infection has faded and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person clean. It is a scab, so he must wash his clothes and be clean.If, however, the scab is spreading further on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his purification, then he must show himself to the priest a second time.The priest must then examine it, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a disease.“ When someone has a diseased infection, he must be brought to the priest.The priest will then examine it, and if a white swelling is on the skin, it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic disease on the skin of his body, so the priest is to pronounce him unclean. The priest must not merely quarantine him, for he is unclean.If, however, the disease breaks out on the skin so that the disease covers all the skin of the person with the infection from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see,the priest must then examine it, and if the disease covers his whole body, he is to pronounce the person with the infection clean. He has turned all white, so he is clean.But whenever raw flesh appears in it he will be unclean,

When they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

Is anything impossible for the LORD? I will return to you when the season comes round again and Sarah will have a son.”

It has often thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you are able to do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”Then Jesus said to him,“‘ If you are able?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Be careful during an outbreak of leprosy to follow precisely all that the Levitical priests instruct you; as I have commanded them, so you should do.Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam along the way after you left Egypt.

May his blood whirl over the head of Joab and the entire house of his father! May the males of Joab’s house never cease to have someone with a running sore or a skin disease or one who works at the spindle or one who falls by the sword or one who lacks food!”

When the cloud departed from above the tent, Miriam became leprous as snow. Then Aaron looked at Miriam, and she was leprous!So Aaron said to Moses,“ O my lord, please do not hold this sin against us, in which we have acted foolishly and have sinned!Do not let her be like a baby born dead, whose flesh is half-consumed when it comes out of its mother’s womb!”Then Moses cried to the LORD,“ Heal her now, O God.”The LORD said to Moses,“ If her father had only spit in her face, would she not have been disgraced for seven days? Shut her out from the camp seven days, and afterward she can be brought back in again.”So Miriam was shut outside of the camp for seven days, and the people did not journey on until Miriam was brought back in.

For this reason I kneel before the Father,

As he was entering a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance,raised their voices and said,“ Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”When he saw them he said,“ Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went along, they were cleansed.Then one of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus’ feet and thanked him.( Now he was a Samaritan.)Then Jesus said,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?Was no one found to turn back and give praise to God except this foreigner?”Then he said to the man,“ Get up and go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,

Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he died.

The king of Syria said,“ Go! I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman went, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten suits of clothes.He brought the letter to king of Israel. It read:“ This is a letter of introduction for my servant Naaman, whom I have sent to be cured of his skin disease.”When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said,“ Am I God? Can I kill or restore life? Why does he ask me to cure a man of his skin disease? Certainly you must see that he is looking for an excuse to fight me!”When Elisha the prophet heard that the king had torn his clothes, he sent this message to the king,“ Why did you tear your clothes? Send him to me so he may know there is a prophet in Israel.”So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood in the doorway of Elisha’s house.Elisha sent out a messenger who told him,“ Go and wash seven times in the Jordan; your skin will be restored and you will be healed.”Naaman went away angry. He said,“ Look, I thought for sure he would come out, stand there, invoke the name of the LORD his God, wave his hand over the area, and cure the skin disease.The rivers of Damascus, the Abana and Pharpar, are better than any of the waters of Israel! Could I not wash in them and be healed?” So he turned around and went away angry.His servants approached and said to him,“ O master, if the prophet had told you to do some difficult task, you would have been willing to do it. It seems you should be happy that he simply said,“ Wash and you will be healed.”So he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, as the prophet had instructed. His skin became as smooth as a young child’s and he was healed.He and his entire entourage returned to the prophet. Naaman came and stood before him. He said,“ For sure I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now, please accept a gift from your servant.”But Elisha replied,“ As certainly as the LORD lives( whom I serve), I will take nothing from you.” Naaman insisted that he take it, but he refused.Naaman said,“ If not, then please give your servant a load of dirt, enough for a pair of mules to carry, for your servant will never again offer a burnt offering or sacrifice to a god other than the LORD.May the LORD forgive your servant for this one thing: When my master enters the temple of Rimmon to worship, and he leans on my arm and I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the LORD forgive your servant for this.”Elisha said to him,“ Go in peace.” When he had gone a short distance,Gehazi, the prophet Elisha’s servant, thought,“ Look, my master did not accept what this Syrian Naaman offered him. As certainly as the LORD lives, I will run after him and accept something from him.”So Gehazi ran after Naaman. When Naaman saw someone running after him, he got down from his chariot to meet him and asked,“ Is everything all right?”He answered,“ Everything is fine. My master sent me with this message,‘ Look, two servants of the prophets just arrived from the Ephraimite hill country. Please give them a talent of silver and two suits of clothes.’”Naaman said,“ Please accept two talents of silver. He insisted, and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, along with two suits of clothes. He gave them to two of his servants and they carried them for Gehazi.When he arrived at the hill, he took them from the servants and put them in the house. Then he sent the men on their way.When he came and stood before his master, Elisha asked him,“ Where have you been, Gehazi?” He answered,“ Your servant hasn’t been anywhere.”Elisha replied,“ I was there in spirit when a man turned and got down from his chariot to meet you. This is not the proper time to accept silver or to accept clothes, olive groves, vineyards, sheep, cattle, and male and female servants.Therefore Naaman’s skin disease will afflict you and your descendants forever!” When Gehazi went out from his presence, his skin was as white as snow.

Now four men with a skin disease were sitting at the entrance of the city gate. They said to one another,“ Why are we just sitting here waiting to die?

The blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news proclaimed to them.

Solomon had made a bronze platform and had placed it in the middle of the enclosure. It was seven and one-half feet long, seven and one-half feet wide, and four and one-half feet high. He stood on it and then got down on his knees in front of the entire assembly of Israel. He spread out his hands toward the sky,
