A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

A man who had a skin disease came to Jesus. On his knees he begged Jesus. He said,“ If you are willing to make me‘ clean,’ you can do it.”

A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed.“ If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said.

Then a man with leprosy came to him and, on his knees, begged him,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

And a man with leprosy* came to Jesus, imploring Him and kneeling down, and saying to Him,“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him,“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And there cometh to him a leper, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him:“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Now a leper came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help.“ If you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.

And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying,“ Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying,“ I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.And Jesus said to him,“ See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to them.”

While he was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him,“ Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying,“ I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him.And he charged him to tell no one, but“ go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a proof to them.”

And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him,“ Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,“ When a person has on the skin of his body a swelling or an eruption or a spot, and it turns into a case of leprous disease on the skin of his body, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests,and the priest shall examine the diseased area on the skin of his body. And if the hair in the diseased area has turned white and the disease appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is a case of leprous disease. When the priest has examined him, he shall pronounce him unclean.But if the spot is white in the skin of his body and appears no deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest shall shut up the diseased person for seven days.And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the disease is checked and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up for another seven days.And the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day, and if the diseased area has faded and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only an eruption. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean.But if the eruption spreads in the skin, after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall appear again before the priest.And the priest shall look, and if the eruption has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease.“ When a man is afflicted with a leprous disease, he shall be brought to the priest,and the priest shall look. And if there is a white swelling in the skin that has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic leprous disease in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not shut him up, for he is unclean.And if the leprous disease breaks out in the skin, so that the leprous disease covers all the skin of the diseased person from head to foot, so far as the priest can see,then the priest shall look, and if the leprous disease has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean of the disease; it has all turned white, and he is clean.But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.

And when they came to the crowd, a man came up to him and, kneeling before him,

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”And Jesus said to him,“‘ If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”

“ Take care, in a case of leprous disease, to be very careful to do according to all that the Levitical priests shall direct you. As I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.Remember what the Lord your God did to Miriam on the way as you came out of Egypt.

May it fall upon the head of Joab and upon all his father’s house, and may the house of Joab never be without one who has a discharge or who is leprous or who holds a spindle or who falls by the sword or who lacks bread!”

When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow. And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.And Aaron said to Moses,“ Oh, my lord, do not punish us because we have done foolishly and have sinned.Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”And Moses cried to the Lord,“ O God, please heal her— please.”But the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut outside the camp seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.”So Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days, and the people did not set out on the march till Miriam was brought in again.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,

And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distanceand lifted up their voices, saying,“ Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”When he saw them he said to them,“ Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed.Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;and he fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.Then Jesus answered,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?”And he said to him,“ Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”

And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed,

And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

And the king of Syria said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he went, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing.And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which read,“ When this letter reaches you, know that I have sent to you Naaman my servant, that you may cure him of his leprosy.”And when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said,“ Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Only consider, and see how he is seeking a quarrel with me.”But when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent to the king, saying,“ Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, that he may know that there is a prophet in Israel.”So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood at the door of Elisha’s house.And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying,“ Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.”But Naaman was angry and went away, saying,“ Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper.Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.But his servants came near and said to him,“ My father, it is a great word the prophet has spoken to you; will you not do it? Has he actually said to you,‘ Wash, and be clean’?”So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. And he said,“ Behold, I know that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel; so accept now a present from your servant.”But he said,“ As the Lord lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.Then Naaman said,“ If not, please let there be given to your servant two mule loads of earth, for from now on your servant will not offer burnt offering or sacrifice to any god but the Lord.In this matter may the Lord pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, leaning on my arm, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, when I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon your servant in this matter.”He said to him,“ Go in peace.” But when Naaman had gone from him a short distance,Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said,“ See, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not accepting from his hand what he brought. As the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.”So Gehazi followed Naaman. And when Naaman saw someone running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him and said,“ Is all well?”And he said,“ All is well. My master has sent me to say,‘ There have just now come to me from the hill country of Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothing.’”And Naaman said,“ Be pleased to accept two talents.” And he urged him and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants. And they carried them before Gehazi.And when he came to the hill, he took them from their hand and put them in the house, and he sent the men away, and they departed.He went in and stood before his master, and Elisha said to him,“ Where have you been, Gehazi?” And he said,“ Your servant went nowhere.”But he said to him,“ Did not my heart go when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money and garments, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male servants and female servants?Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence a leper, like snow.

Now there were four men who were lepers at the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another,“ Why are we sitting here until we die?

the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the court, and he stood on it. Then he knelt on his knees in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven,

And the Lord touched the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and he lived in a separate house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the household, governing the people of the land.
