A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

A man who had a skin disease came to Jesus. On his knees he begged Jesus. He said,“ If you are willing to make me‘ clean,’ you can do it.”

And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him,“ If you will, you can make me clean.”

A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed.“ If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said.

And a man with leprosy* came to Jesus, imploring Him and kneeling down, and saying to Him,“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him,“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And there cometh to him a leper, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Then a man with a serious skin disease came to Him and, on his knees, begged Him:“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Now a leper came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help.“ If you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.

Right away a man with leprosy came up and knelt before him, saying,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying,“ I am willing; be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.Then Jesus told him,“ See that you don’t tell anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

While he was in one of the towns, a man was there who had leprosy all over him. He saw Jesus, fell facedown, and begged him,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying,“ I am willing; be made clean,” and immediately the leprosy left him.Then he ordered him to tell no one:“ But go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses commanded for your cleansing as a testimony to them.”

As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before him, and asked him,“ Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:“ When a person has a swelling, scab, or spot on the skin of his body, and it may be a serious disease on the skin of his body, he is to be brought to the priest Aaron or to one of his sons, the priests.The priest will examine the sore on the skin of his body. If the hair in the sore has turned white and the sore appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is in fact a serious skin disease. After the priest examines him, he must pronounce him unclean.But if the spot on the skin of his body is white and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest will quarantine the stricken person for seven days.The priest will then reexamine him on the seventh day. If he sees that the sore remains unchanged and has not spread on the skin, the priest will quarantine him for another seven days.The priest will examine him again on the seventh day. If the sore has faded and has not spread on the skin, the priest is to pronounce him clean; it is a scab. The person is to wash his clothes and will become clean.But if the scab spreads further on his skin after he has presented himself to the priest for his cleansing, he is to present himself again to the priest.The priest will examine him, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest must pronounce him unclean; he has a serious skin disease.“ When a case of serious skin disease may have developed on a person, he is to be brought to the priest.The priest will examine him. If there is a white swelling on the skin that has turned the hair white, and there is a patch of raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic serious disease on the skin of his body, and the priest must pronounce him unclean. He need not quarantine him, for he is unclean.But if the skin disease breaks out all over the skin so that it covers all the skin of the stricken person from his head to his feet so far as the priest can see,the priest will look, and if the skin disease has covered his entire body, he is to pronounce the stricken person clean. Since he has turned totally white, he is clean.But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he will be unclean.

When they reached the crowd, a man approached and knelt down before him.

Is anything impossible for the LORD? At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.”

“ And many times it has thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”Jesus said to him,“‘ If you can’? Everything is possible for the one who believes.”

“ Be careful with a person who has a case of serious skin disease, following carefully everything the Levitical priests instruct you to do. Be careful to do as I have commanded them.Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam on the journey after you left Egypt.

May it hang over Joab’s head and his father’s whole family, and may the house of Joab never be without someone who has a discharge or a skin disease, or a man who can only work a spindle, or someone who falls by the sword or starves.”

As the cloud moved away from the tent, Miriam’s skin suddenly became diseased, resembling snow. When Aaron turned toward her, he saw that she was diseasedand said to Moses,“ My lord, please don’t hold against us this sin we have so foolishly committed.Please don’t let her be like a dead baby whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”Then Moses cried out to the LORD,“ God, please heal her!”The LORD answered Moses,“ If her father had merely spit in her face, wouldn’t she remain in disgrace for seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days; after that she may be brought back in.”So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until Miriam was brought back in.

For this reason I kneel before the Father

As he entered a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distanceand raised their voices, saying,“ Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”When he saw them, he told them,“ Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And while they were going, they were cleansed.But one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned and, with a loud voice, gave glory to God.He fell facedown at his feet, thanking him. And he was a Samaritan.Then Jesus said,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?Didn’t any return to give glory to God except this foreigner?”And he told him,“ Get up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you.”

Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and began to pray,

He knelt down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” And after saying this, he fell asleep.

Therefore, the king of Aram said,“ Go, and I will send a letter with you to the king of Israel.” So he went and took with him 750 pounds of silver, 150 pounds of gold, and ten sets of clothing.He brought the letter to the king of Israel, and it read: When this letter comes to you, note that I have sent you my servant Naaman for you to cure him of his skin disease.When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and asked,“ Am I God, killing and giving life, that this man expects me to cure a man of his skin disease? Recognize that he is only picking a fight with me.”When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent a message to the king:“ Why have you torn your clothes? Have him come to me, and he will know there is a prophet in Israel.”So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood at the door of Elisha’s house.Then Elisha sent him a messenger, who said,“ Go wash seven times in the Jordan and your skin will be restored and you will be clean.”But Naaman got angry and left, saying,“ I was telling myself: He will surely come out, stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the skin disease.Aren’t Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and left in a rage.But his servants approached and said to him,“ My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more should you do it when he only tells you,‘ Wash and be clean’?”So Naaman went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, according to the command of the man of God. Then his skin was restored and became like the skin of a small boy, and he was clean.Then Naaman and his whole company went back to the man of God, stood before him, and declared,“ I know there’s no God in the whole world except in Israel. Therefore, please accept a gift from your servant.”But Elisha said,“ As the LORD lives, in whose presence I stand, I will not accept it.” Naaman urged him to accept it, but he refused.Naaman responded,“ If not, please let your servant be given as much soil as a pair of mules can carry, for your servant will no longer offer a burnt offering or a sacrifice to any other god but the LORD.However, in a particular matter may the LORD pardon your servant: When my master, the king of Aram, goes into the temple of Rimmon to bow in worship while he is leaning on my arm, and I have to bow in the temple of Rimmon— when I bow in the temple of Rimmon, may the LORD pardon your servant in this matter.”So he said to him,“ Go in peace.” After Naaman had traveled a short distance from Elisha,Gehazi, the attendant of Elisha the man of God, thought,“ My master has let this Aramean Naaman off lightly by not accepting from him what he brought. As the LORD lives, I will run after him and get something from him.”So Gehazi pursued Naaman. When Naaman saw someone running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him and asked,“ Is everything all right?”Gehazi said,“ It’s all right. My master has sent me to say,‘ I have just now discovered that two young men from the sons of the prophets have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them seventy-five pounds of silver and two sets of clothing.’”But Naaman insisted,“ Please, accept one hundred fifty pounds.” He urged Gehazi and then packed one hundred fifty pounds of silver in two bags with two sets of clothing. Naaman gave them to two of his attendants who carried them ahead of Gehazi.When Gehazi came to the hill, he took the gifts from them and deposited them in the house. Then he dismissed the men, and they left.Gehazi came and stood by his master.“ Where did you go, Gehazi?” Elisha asked him. He replied,“ Your servant didn’t go anywhere.”“ And my heart didn’t go when the man got down from his chariot to meet you,” Elisha said.“ Is this a time to accept silver and clothing, olive orchards and vineyards, flocks and herds, and male and female slaves?Therefore, Naaman’s skin disease will cling to you and your descendants forever.” So Gehazi went out from his presence diseased, resembling snow.

Now four men with a skin disease were at the entrance to the city gate. They said to each other,“ Why just sit here until we die?

The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news,

For Solomon had made a bronze platform 7½ feet long, 7½ feet wide, and 4½ feet high and put it in the court. He stood on it, knelt down in front of the entire congregation of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven.

The LORD afflicted the king, and he had a serious skin disease until the day of his death. He lived in quarantine, while Jotham, the king’s son, was over the household governing the people of the land.
