Get up and pray that you do not come into temptation.”

But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

In the days of His humanity, He offered up both prayers and pleas with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His devout behavior.

Now when day came, Jesus left and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were searching for Him, and they came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving them.But He said to them,“ I must also preach the kingdom of God to the other cities, because I was sent for this purpose.”

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,

After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.

In return for my love they act as my accusers; But I am in prayer.
