When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, Peter’s mother in law was sick in bed with a high fever.But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for him.

Jesus and his companions went to the town of Capernaum. When the Sabbath day came, he went into the synagogue and began to teach.

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Suddenly, a man in the synagogue who was possessed by an evil spirit cried out,
