Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,

Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,

And straightway there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

Just then a man with an unclean spirit was in their synagogue. He cried out,

And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,

“ When an unclean spirit goes out of a person, it passes through waterless places looking for rest but does not find it.

Instead, a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit immediately heard about him and came and fell at his feet.

Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

Now in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,“ Ha! Leave us alone, Jesus the Nazarene! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are– the Holy One of God.”But Jesus rebuked him:“ Silence! Come out of him!” Then, after the demon threw the man down in their midst, he came out of him without hurting him.They were all amazed and began to say to one another,“ What’s happening here? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”So the news about him spread into all areas of the region.

So he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. But he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

Just as Jesus was getting out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came from the tombs and met him.
