我敵歟、毋因我而欣喜、我雖傾仆、仍必復起、我雖坐於昏暗、有主為我光明、

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.

The people of Jerusalem say,“ Don’t laugh when we suffer, you enemies of ours! We have fallen. But we’ll get up. Even though we sit in the dark, the Lord will give us light.

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.

The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.

Light shines in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom should I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom should I dread?

For God, who said,“ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.

There were those who lived in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains,Because they had rebelled against the words of God And rejected the plan of the Most High.Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was no one to help.Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses.He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death And broke their bands apart.They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind!

“ On that day I will raise up the fallen shelter of David, And wall up its gaps; I will also raise up its ruins And rebuild it as in the days of old;

Then my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look at her; At that time she will be trampled down Like mud of the streets.

For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of disaster.Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart rejoice when he stumbles,Otherwise, the Lord will see and be displeased, And turn His anger away from him.

Truly, truly I say to you that you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy!

Do not gloat over your brother’s day, The day of his misfortune. And do not rejoice over the sons of Judah On the day of their destruction; Yes, do not boast On the day of their distress.

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.

And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them; and they will reign forever and ever.

“ Because you are glad, because you are jubilant, You who pillage My heritage, Because you skip about like a threshing heifer And neigh like stallions,

The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives.

For I said,“ May they not rejoice over me, Who, when my foot slips, would exalt themselves over me.”

Light is sown like seed for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.

But You, Lord, be gracious to me and raise me up, That I may repay them.By this I know that You are pleased with me, Because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, And You place me in Your presence forever.

“ Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

“ Have I rejoiced at the misfortune of my enemy, Or become excited when evil found him?

As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so I will do to you. You will be a desolation, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord.” ’

For this is what the Lord God says:“ Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet, and have rejoiced with all the malice in your soul against the land of Israel,

When he falls, he will not be hurled down, Because the Lord is the One who holds his hand.

Do not let those who are wrongfully my enemies rejoice over me; Nor let those who hate me for no reason wink maliciously.

Rejoice and be joyful, daughter of Edom, Who lives in the land of Uz; But the cup will pass to you as well, You will become drunk and expose yourself.The punishment of your wrongdoing has been completed, daughter of Zion; He will no longer exile you. But He will punish your wrongdoing, daughter of Edom; He will expose your sins!

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

Saying to those who are bound,‘ Go free,’ To those who are in darkness,‘ Show yourselves.’ They will feed along the roads, And their pasture will be on all bare heights.

No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor will the moon give you light for brightness; But you will have the Lord as an everlasting light, And your God as your glory.Your sun will no longer set, Nor will your moon wane; For you will have the Lord as an everlasting light, And the days of your mourning will be over.

Judge me, Lord my God, according to Your righteousness, And do not let them rejoice over me.Do not let them say in their heart,“ Aha, our desire!” Do not let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”May those be ashamed and altogether humiliated who rejoice at my distress; May those who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and dishonor.

But at my stumbling they rejoiced and gathered themselves together; The afflicted people whom I did not know gathered together against me, They slandered me without ceasing.Like godless jesters at a feast, They gnashed at me with their teeth.

And my enemy will say,“ I have overcome him,” And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.But I have trusted in Your faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.I will sing to the Lord, Because He has looked after me.

Come, house of Jacob, and let’s walk in the light of the Lord.

The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, Upon them a Light dawned.”

And those who live on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who live on the earth.And after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them.And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them,“ Come up here.” And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.

Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us,To shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Who is among you who fears the Lord, Who obeys the voice of His servant, Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
