For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.

Sons don’t honor their fathers. Daughters refuse to obey their mothers. Daughters- in- law are against their mothers- in- law. A man’s enemies are the members of his own family.

for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter in law defies her mother in law. Your enemies are right in your own household!

Surely a son considers his father a fool, a daughter opposes her mother, and a daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household.

我不是針對你們每個人而說的。我了解我所揀選的每個人，但這是為要應驗經上的話：『那吃我餅的人，竟抬腳踢我。』

你卻放縱如水，必不再出眾；因為你上了你父親的床，把床玷汙了。他居然上了我的床鋪！

嘲笑父親，藐視而不順從母親的，他的眼睛將被溪谷的烏鴉挖出來，被鷹雛吃掉。

連我信任的密友，就是那吃過我飯的，也抬腳踢我。

迦南的父親含，看見自己父親的下體，就去告訴他在外面的兩個兄弟。於是閃和雅弗拿了一件外衣，搭在他們兩人的肩膀上，倒退著進去遮蓋他們父親的下體；他們背著臉，就沒有看見他們父親的下體。挪亞酒醒以後，知道了小兒子向他所做的事，

這世代詛咒自己的父親，也不祝福自己的母親。

大衛對亞比篩和所有的臣僕說：「看哪，我親生的兒子尚且尋索我的性命，更何況這便雅憫的子孫呢！由他吧，讓他咒罵！因為是耶和華吩咐了他。

亞希多弗對押沙龍說：「你去與你父親所留下看守宮殿的妃嬪們同房，這樣全以色列都會聽到你被你父親憎惡，所有隨同你的人就更加堅強。」於是他們為押沙龍在屋頂上支搭了一座帳篷，押沙龍就在以色列公眾眼前與他父親的妃嬪們同房。在那些日子，亞希多弗所提的建議如同人向神求得的話語。亞希多弗的所有建議，無論是給大衛的還是給押沙龍的，都是如此。

押沙龍派遣探子到以色列所有的支派中，說：「你們一聽見號角聲，就要說：『押沙龍在希伯崙作王了！』」有兩百個人隨同押沙龍從耶路撒冷前去，他們受邀請，很單純地去了，什麼事情都不知道。押沙龍獻祭的時候，派人去把大衛的謀士基羅人亞希多弗從他的本城基羅請了來。於是謀反勢力強大起來，擁護押沙龍的民眾越來越多。

其實不是仇敵辱罵我——如果是，我還可以承受；也不是恨我的人在我面前高抬自己——如果是，我還可以躲藏。但竟然是你，是與我一樣的人，是我的同伴、我的知己！我們曾經一起親密交流，與會眾一起走在神的殿中。

耶穌回答說：「那與我一同把手蘸在盤子裡的，就是要出賣我的人。

你們甚至將被父母、兄弟、親戚和朋友出賣，他們還會害死你們當中的一些人。

猶大立刻上前來對耶穌說：「拉比，願你歡喜！」然後親吻了他。耶穌對他說：「朋友，你為什麼來到這裡？」於是，那些人上前來，下手拘捕了耶穌。

因為人們將會愛自己、愛錢財，又自誇、又驕傲，褻瀆神、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、毫不聖潔、沒有親情、不肯和解、惡意控告、不能自制、殘忍凶暴、不愛良善、
