For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.

Sons don’t honor their fathers. Daughters refuse to obey their mothers. Daughters- in- law are against their mothers- in- law. A man’s enemies are the members of his own family.

for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter in law defies her mother in law. Your enemies are right in your own household!

可是，你必不再居首位，因为你放纵情欲，如沸腾不止的水，你上了你父亲的床，玷污了我的榻。

我听见许多人窃窃私语：“看那个说‘四面有恐怖’的人，我们告发他！告发他！”我的好友都盼着我灭亡，说：“或许他会受骗，那样我们便能打倒他，一泄心头之恨。”

你的盟友将你逐出家园；你的朋友欺骗你，战胜你；你的知己设陷阱害你，你却懵然不知。”

嘲笑父亲、藐视母亲教诲的，眼睛必被谷中的乌鸦啄出，被秃鹰吃掉。

连我所信赖、吃我饭的挚友也用脚踢我。

迦南的父亲含看见他父亲赤身露体，便去告诉外面的两个弟兄。于是，闪和雅弗拿了一件衣服搭在肩上，倒退着走进帐篷，把衣服盖在父亲身上，他们背着脸不看父亲赤裸的身体。挪亚酒醒后，知道了小儿子做的事，

你的弟兄和家人都背叛了你，与你作对。任他们甜言蜜语，你不要相信。

有一种人咒诅父亲，不为母亲祝福。

他派密使通知以色列各支派一听见号角的响声，便喊：“押沙龙在希伯仑做王了！”有二百人应邀随同押沙龙一起从耶路撒冷去希伯仑，他们对内情一无所知。押沙龙献祭的时候，还派人去把大卫的谋士亚希多弗从他的故乡基罗请来。反叛的势力大增，拥护押沙龙的民众越来越多。

倘若是仇敌辱骂我，我还能忍受；倘若是恨我的人欺凌我，我还可以躲开。可是，竟然是你——我志同道合的伙伴，我的挚友！从前我们情谊深厚，与众人同去上帝的殿。

祂说：“那和我一同在盘子里蘸饼吃的就是要出卖我的人。

你们将被父母、弟兄、亲戚、朋友出卖，你们有些人会被他们害死。
