The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

Faithful people have disappeared from the land. Those who are honest are gone. Everyone hides and waits to spill the blood of others. They use nets to try and trap one another.

The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.

他們的腳奔跑行惡，急速流無辜者的血；他們的思想全是惡念，走過的路盡是破壞與毀滅。

他們若說：「你與我們同去，我們要埋伏殺人流血，無故地潛藏，殺害無辜；

愚頑人心裏說：「沒有神。」他們都敗壞，行了可憎惡的事，沒有一個人行善。耶和華從天上垂看世人，要看有明白的沒有，有尋求神的沒有。他們都偏離正路，一同變為污穢，沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。

他們為我的腳設下網羅，壓迫我；他們在我面前掘了坑，自己反掉在其中。（細拉）

他們的箭袋有如敞開的墳墓，他們全都是勇士。

他用鈎子把他們全拉上來，用羅網捕獲他們，拉漁網聚集他們。因此，他歡喜快樂，向羅網獻祭，向漁網燒香；因為他藉此得豐盛的收穫與肥美的食物。但他豈可因此屢屢倒空羅網，時常殺戮列國的人，毫不顧惜呢？

以血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。

就如經上所記：「沒有義人，連一個也沒有。沒有明白的，沒有尋求神的。人人偏離正路，一同走向敗壞。沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓；他們的舌頭玩弄詭詐。他們的嘴唇裏有毒蛇的毒液，滿口是咒罵苦毒。他們的腳為殺人流血飛跑；他們的路留下毀壞和災難。和平的路，他們不認識；他們眼中不怕神。」

我父啊，請看，看你外袍的衣角在我手中。我割下你外袍的衣角，卻沒有殺你。你知道，並且看見我沒有惡意要悖逆你。你雖然要獵取我的命，我卻沒有得罪你。

現在不要使我的血流在遠離耶和華面的地上。因為以色列王出來，只不過是尋找一隻跳蚤，如同人在山上獵取一隻鷓鴣。」

惡人的言論埋伏流人的血；正直人的口卻拯救人。

「看哪，我要差派許多打魚的捕獲他們；以後，我也要派許多打獵的，從各山上、各岡上、各石穴中獵取他們。這是耶和華說的。

仇敵追逐我們的腳蹤，使我們不敢在自己的街上行走。我們的結局臨近，日子已滿，我們的結局已經來到。
