The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

永恆主啊，求你拯救，因為堅貞之愛斷絕了，人類間的忠信都不見了。

義人死亡，沒有人放在心上；堅貞之人被收去，沒有人留意；義人被收去、是脫離了禍患，

因為在我的人民中有惡人；他們窺探着，像捕鳥人蹲着等；他們設立了毁滅機來捉住人。

他們的腳奔跑行壞事；他們很快捷流着無辜人的血；他們的意圖是奸惡的意圖在他們的路上都是毁滅和破壞。

他們若說：『跟我們同來吧！我們來埋伏，流人的血，來無緣無故地潛伏、害無辜的人；

鹵莽人心裏說沒有上帝。他們都腐敗，行了可厭惡的事；沒有人行善。永恆主從天上垂看着人類，要看有明智的沒有，有尋求上帝的沒有。他們都偏離正路，一概被染污；沒有人行善，連一個也沒有。

他們設下羅網要絆住我的腳步，使我被屈撓。他們在我面前掘開了坑，自己反掉於其中。（細拉）

他們的箭袋像敞開的墳墓；他們都是勇士。

他用鈎子把他們都鈎上來，用網子給拉出來，用拉網給收集在一起，故此他歡喜快樂。就向網子獻祭，向拉網燻祭，因為藉着這些祭物他的分兒就肥美，他的食物就肥甘。因此他不斷地拔刀，殺戮列國人、毫不顧惜。

以人血建造錫安，以罪孽建築耶路撒冷的。

正如經上所記：『沒有義人，一個也沒有；沒有曉悟的，沒有尋求上帝的；他們都偏離了正路，一同變為無用；沒有以慈惠待人的，連一個也沒有；他們的喉嚨是敞開的墓；他們用舌頭弄欺詐；他們嘴脣下有虺蛇之毒氣；他們的口滿了咒罵和苦恨；他們的腳飛快、要流人的血；他們所經過的路、都使人受殘害和災難；平安的路、他們不知道；他們眼中、並沒有敬畏上帝的心。』

我父請看，看你外袍的衣邊居然在我手中呢；我既把你外袍的衣邊割下來，又沒有殺害你，那你總可以知道、總可以看清楚、我手中並沒有謀害或背叛了罷。我沒有得罪了你，你竟獵取我的性命要了結它。

現在求王不要使我的血流在離開永恆主面前之地；因為以色列王出來尋索人的性命，就如大鷹在山上追取一隻鷓鴣一般。』

惡人的話埋伏着要流人的血；正直人的口能援救人。

『永恆主發神諭說：看吧，我要差人去召許多打魚的，把以色列人打上來；然後我要差人去召許多打獵的，從各山上、各岡陵上，各碞石縫兒，把他們都獵取了來。

仇敵像打獵的、追跟我們的腳步，以致我們不敢在我們的廣場上行走；我們的結局臨近了；我們的日子滿了；我們的結局到了。
