The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

Faithful people have disappeared from the land. Those who are honest are gone. Everyone hides and waits to spill the blood of others. They use nets to try and trap one another.

他們若說：你與我們同去，我們要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害無罪之人；

愚頑人心裏說：沒有神。他們都是邪惡，行了可憎惡的事；沒有一個人行善。耶和華從天上垂看世人，要看有明白的沒有，有尋求神的沒有。他們都偏離正路，一同變為污穢；並沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。

他們為我的腳設下網羅，壓制我的心；他們在我面前挖了坑，自己反掉在其中。（細拉）

他們的箭袋是敞開的墳墓；他們都是勇士。

他用鈎鈎住，用網捕獲，用拉網聚集他們；因此，他歡喜快樂，就向網獻祭，向網燒香，因他由此得肥美的分和富裕的食物。他豈可屢次倒空網羅，將列國的人時常殺戮，毫不顧惜呢？

以人血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。

就如經上所記：沒有義人，連一個也沒有。沒有明白的；沒有尋求神的；都是偏離正路，一同變為無用。沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓；他們用舌頭弄詭詐，嘴唇裏有虺蛇的毒氣，滿口是咒罵苦毒。殺人流血，他們的腳飛跑，所經過的路便行殘害暴虐的事。平安的路，他們未曾知道；他們眼中不怕神。

我父啊，看看你外袍的衣襟在我手中。我割下你的衣襟，沒有殺你；你由此可以知道我沒有惡意叛逆你。你雖然獵取我的命，我卻沒有得罪你。

現在求王不要使我的血流在離耶和華遠的地方。以色列王出來是尋找一個虼蚤，如同人在山上獵取一個鷓鴣一般。」

惡人的言論是埋伏流人的血；正直人的口必拯救人。

耶和華說：「我要召許多打魚的把以色列人打上來，然後我要召許多打獵的，從各山上、各岡上、各石穴中獵取他們。

仇敵追趕我們的腳步像打獵的，以致我們不敢在自己的街上行走。我們的結局臨近；我們的日子滿足；我們的結局來到了。
