The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

Faithful people have disappeared from the land. Those who are honest are gone. Everyone hides and waits to spill the blood of others. They use nets to try and trap one another.

The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.

如果他們說：“你跟我們來吧！我們要埋伏流人的血，我們要無故地潛伏傷害無辜的人；

他們為我的腳設下了網羅，使我低頭屈服；他們在我面前挖了坑，自己反掉進坑中。（細拉）

他們的箭囊像敞開的墳墓，他們盡都是勇士。

迦勒底人既用鈎把他們釣起來，用網拖走，用魚網收聚在一處，就歡喜快樂，向自己的網獻祭，對魚網燒香，因他們藉此收穫豐富，飲食充裕。這樣，他們倒空自己的網，毫不留情地繼續殺戮列國。

用人血建錫安，以罪孽造耶路撒冷。

正如經上所說：“沒有義人，連一個也沒有，沒有明白的，沒有尋求神的；人人都偏離了正道，一同變成污穢；沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，他們用舌頭弄詭詐，他們嘴裡有虺蛇的毒，滿口是咒罵和惡毒；為了殺人流血，他們的腳步飛快，在經過的路上留下毀滅和悲慘。和睦之道，他們不曉得，他們的眼中也不怕神。”

我父啊，請看，你外袍的衣邊在我手中。我割下了你外袍的衣邊，卻沒有殺你。你從此可以知道，也可以看出我手中沒有邪惡，也沒有過犯。我雖然沒有得罪你，你卻要獵取我的性命。

現在，求王不要讓我的血流在遠離耶和華的地上，因為以色列王出來尋索我的性命，就像人在山中獵取一隻鷓鴣一樣。”

惡人的言語埋伏著，等待要流人的血，正直人的口能拯救人。

“看哪！我要差人去叫許多漁夫來，捕捉以色列人；然後我要差人去叫許多獵人來，從各大山、小山和巖石的裂縫裡，獵取他們。”這是耶和華的宣告。

敵人追蹤我們，使我們不敢在自己的街道上行走。我們的結局近了，我們的日子滿了；我們的結局已經到了。
