Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their power. They will put their hands over their mouths and their ears will become deaf.

When the nations see those wonders, they will be put to shame. All their power will be taken away from them. They will be so amazed that they won’t be able to speak or hear.

All the nations of the world will stand amazed at what the Lord will do for you. They will be embarrassed at their feeble power. They will cover their mouths in silent awe, deaf to everything around them.

“ As for you, son of man, thus says the Lord God: Speak to the birds of every sort and to all beasts of the field:‘ Assemble and come, gather from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh and drink blood.You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth— of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, of bulls, all of them fat beasts of Bashan.And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you.And you shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors,’ declares the Lord God.“ And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.

So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

Look at me and be appalled, and lay your hand over your mouth.

And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

“ For I know their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory,

The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.”

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations,“ The Lord has done great things for them.”

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, which, when it goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: Peoples shall yet come, even the inhabitants of many cities.The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying,‘ Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the Lord and to seek the Lord of hosts; I myself am going.’Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the Lord.Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying,‘ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
