Then she who is my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will see her; Now she will be trampled down Like mud in the streets.

那时我的仇敌，就是曾对我说“耶和华你神在哪里”的，他一看见这事就被羞愧遮盖。我必亲眼见他遭报；他必被践踏，如同街上的泥土。

那时我的仇敌看见这事就羞愧，他曾对我说：“耶和华—你的上帝在哪里？”我必亲眼见他遭报，现在，他必被践踏，如同街上的泥土。

从前嘲笑我说“你的上帝耶和华在哪里”的仇敌看见这事，都必满面羞愧。我必亲眼看见他们遭到报应，他们要像街上的泥土一样被人践踏。

我的仇敌看见了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾经对我说：“耶和华你的神在哪里”的人，我必亲眼看见他遭报；那时，他必被人践踏，好像街上的泥土。

那時我的仇敵，就是曾對我說「耶和華－你神在哪裏」的，他一看見這事就被羞愧遮蓋。我必親眼見他遭報；他必被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。

那時我的仇敵看見這事就羞愧，他曾對我說：「耶和華－你的上帝在哪裏？」我必親眼見他遭報，現在，他必被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。

那時我的仇敵、就是那譏笑我說：『永恆主你的上帝在哪裏？』的、一看見，就必被慚愧籠罩着；我必親眼見到她遭報；這時她就被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。

我敵見之、必蒙羞恥、昔彼謂我曰、爾之上帝耶和華安在、彼必遭報、被踐若街衢之泥、為我目睹、

我敵見之、含羞抱愧、昔彼問我云、爾之上帝耶和華安在、今遭蹂躪、若衢路之泥、我目睹之。

我敵見此、必蒙羞抱愧、彼問我云、爾之天主耶和華安在、我必目睹我敵遭報、因我敵遭蹂躪、如衢路之泥然、

Then my enemy will see it and will be covered with shame, she who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will see her downfall; even now she will be trampled underfoot like mire in the streets.

Our enemies will see it too. And they will be put to shame. After all, they said to us,‘ Where is the Lord your God?’ But we will see them destroyed. Soon they will be stomped on like mud in the streets.”

Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like the mire of the streets.

Then my enemies will see that the Lord is on my side. They will be ashamed that they taunted me, saying,“ So where is the Lord— that God of yours?” With my own eyes I will see their downfall; they will be trampled like mud in the streets.

Then my enemy will see, and she will be covered with shame, the one who said to me,“ Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will look at her in triumph; at that time she will be trampled like mud in the streets.

Then my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look at her; At that time she will be trampled down Like mud of the streets.

Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see my desire upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

Then my enemy will see, and she will be covered with shame, the one who said to me,“ Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look at her in triumph; at that time she will be trampled like mud in the streets.

Then[ she that is] mine enemy shall see[ it], and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

When my enemies see this, they will be covered with shame. They say to me,“ Where is the LORD your God?” I will gloat over them. Then they will be trampled down like mud in the streets.

Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, where is Yahweh your God? Then my enemy will see me and will cover her shame. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

They shall be like mighty men, Who tread down their enemies In the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, And the riders on horses shall be put to shame.

Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say,“ Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples,‘ Where is their God?’”

We are ashamed because we have heard reproach. Shame has covered our faces, For strangers have come into the sanctuaries of the LORD’s house.

Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion Who rejoice at my hurt; Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor Who exalt themselves against me.

As with a breaking of my bones, My enemies reproach me, While they say to me all day long,“ Where is your God?”

Then I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth; I trod them like dirt in the streets, And I spread them out.

Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets.

Now also many nations have gathered against you, Who say,“ Let her be defiled, And let our eye look upon Zion.”

“ Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; For you shall no longer be called The Lady of Kingdoms.I was angry with My people; I have profaned My inheritance, And given them into your hand. You showed them no mercy; On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily.And you said,‘ I shall be a lady forever,’ So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them.“ Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, Who dwell securely, Who say in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children’;But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.

For on this mountain the hand of the Lord will rest, And Moab shall be trampled down under Him, As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap.And He will spread out His hands in their midst As a swimmer reaches out to swim, And He will bring down their pride Together with the trickery of their hands.The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, And bring to the ground, down to the dust.

Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Let there be known among the nations in our sight The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.

Let my accusers be clothed with shame, And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.

“ Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff.You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the Lord, And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

“ For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever.

He who scatters has come up before your face. Man the fort! Watch the road! Strengthen your flanks! Fortify your power mightily.For the Lord will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the emptiers have emptied them out And ruined their vine branches.The shields of his mighty men are made red, The valiant men are in scarlet. The chariots come with flaming torches In the day of his preparation, And the spears are brandished.

Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”

Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ The children of Israel were oppressed, Along with the children of Judah; All who took them captive have held them fast; They have refused to let them go.Their Redeemer is strong; The Lord of hosts is His name. He will thoroughly plead their case, That He may give rest to the land, And disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me,“ Where is your God?”

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”Look! You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by utterly destroying them; and shall you be delivered?

Then he said,“ Throw her down.” So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot.And when he had gone in, he ate and drank. Then he said,“ Go now, see to this accursed woman, and bury her, for she was a king’s daughter.”So they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands.Therefore they came back and told him. And he said,“ This is the word of the Lord, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying,‘ On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel;and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as refuse on the surface of the field, in the plot at Jezreel, so that they shall not say,“ Here lies Jezebel.”’”

The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,

You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the Lord of hosts.

Your eyes shall see, And you shall say,‘ The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’

Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?“ I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.

For He brings down those who dwell on high, The lofty city; He lays it low, He lays it low to the ground, He brings it down to the dust.The foot shall tread it down— The feet of the poor And the steps of the needy.”

Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed. Wail for her! Take balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed.We would have healed Babylon, But she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go everyone to his own country; For her judgment reaches to heaven and is lifted up to the skies.The Lord has revealed our righteousness. Come and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.

Thus says your Lord, The Lord and your God, Who pleads the cause of His people:“ See, I have taken out of your hand The cup of trembling, The dregs of the cup of My fury; You shall no longer drink it.But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, Who have said to you,‘ Lie down, that we may walk over you.’ And you have laid your body like the ground, And as the street, for those who walk over.”

He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”

“ And I will repay Babylon And all the inhabitants of Chaldea For all the evil they have done In Zion in your sight,” says the Lord.

“ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed, Happy the one who repays you as you have served us!Happy the one who takes and dashes Your little ones against the rock!

Why should the Gentiles say,“ So where is their God?”

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me,“ Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.But the angel said to me,“ Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

They will also be girded with sackcloth; Horror will cover them; Shame will be on every face, Baldness on all their heads.
