What should I bring before the LORD when I come to bow before God on high? Should I come before him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?

我朝见耶和华，在至高神面前跪拜，当献上什么呢？岂可献一岁的牛犊为燔祭吗？

我朝見耶和華，在至高神面前跪拜，當獻上甚麼呢？豈可獻一歲的牛犢為燔祭嗎？

我朝見永恆主，在高高的上帝面前屈身，該帶着甚麼？難道我朝見他、要帶着燔祭，帶着一歲的牛犢麼？

我詣耶和華、跪拜至上之上帝、當奉何物、豈以燔祭及盈歲之犢、而詣之乎、

民曰我欲崇拜至上之上帝耶和華、當獻何物、豈可以燔祭盈歲之犢、臚陳於前哉、

我欲詣於主前、叩拜在上之天主、當獻何物、當獻火焚祭乎、抑獻一歲之犢乎、

With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

The people of Israel say,“ What should we bring with us when we go to worship the Lord? What should we offer the God of heaven when we bow down to him? Should we take burnt offerings to him? Should we sacrifice calves that are a year old?

“ With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

What can we bring to the Lord? Should we bring him burnt offerings? Should we bow before God Most High with offerings of yearling calves?

With what shall I come to the Lord And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves?

With what shall I come before the Lord, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old?

Wherewith shall I come before Jehovah, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt- offerings, with calves a year old?

What should I bring before the Lord when I come to bow before God on high? Should I come before Him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?

Wherewith shall I come before the LORD,[ and] bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

With what should I enter the LORD’s presence? With what should I bow before the sovereign God? Should I enter his presence with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?

How shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

I can testify about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness.

Nebuchadnezzar then approached the door of the furnace of blazing fire and called,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God— come out!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire.

Balaam told Balak,“ Build me seven altars here and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me.”So Balak did as Balaam said and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.Therefore, as he was coming into the world, he said: You did not desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.You did not delight in whole burnt offerings and sin offerings.Then I said,“ See— it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, God.”After he says above, You did not desire or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings( which are offered according to the law),he then says, See, I have come to do your will. He takes away the first to establish the second.By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.

Just then someone came up and asked him,“ Teacher, what good must I do to have eternal life?”

Jesus answered,“ Truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate the loaves and were filled.

And he cried out with a loud voice,“ What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you before God, don’t torment me!”

Then Balaam said to Balak,“ Build me seven altars here and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me.”So Balak did as Balaam directed, and they offered a bull and a ram on each altar.Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here by your burnt offering while I am gone. Maybe the LORD will meet with me. I will tell you whatever he reveals to me.” So he went to a barren hill.God met with him and Balaam said to him,“ I have arranged seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.”

He was driven away from people, his mind was like an animal’s, he lived with the wild donkeys, he was fed grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with dew from the sky until he acknowledged that the Most High God is ruler over human kingdoms and sets anyone he wants over them.

So Balak took him to Lookout Field on top of Pisgah, built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.Balaam said to Balak,“ Stay here by your burnt offering while I seek the LORD over there.”

As she followed Paul and us she cried out,“ These men, who are proclaiming to you a way of salvation, are the servants of the Most High God.”

“ Belteshazzar, head of the magicians, because I know that you have the spirit of the holy gods and that no mystery puzzles you, explain to me the visions of my dream that I saw, and its interpretation.

You do not delight in sacrifice and offering; you open my ears to listen. You do not ask for a whole burnt offering or a sin offering.Then I said,“ See, I have come; in the scroll it is written about me.I delight to do your will, my God, and your instruction is deep within me.”

All who prosper on earth will eat and bow down; all those who go down to the dust will kneel before him— even the one who cannot preserve his life.

When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”

Come, let’s worship and bow down; let’s kneel before the LORD our Maker.

Your Majesty, the Most High God gave sovereignty, greatness, glory, and majesty to your predecessor Nebuchadnezzar.

“ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male. He will bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he may be accepted by the LORD.He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering so it can be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.He is to slaughter the bull before the LORD; Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and splatter it on all sides of the altar that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.Then he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest will prepare a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, the head, and the fat on top of the burning wood on the altar.The offerer is to wash its entrails and legs with water. Then the priest will burn all of it on the altar as a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.“ But if his offering for a burnt offering is from the flock, from sheep or goats, he is to present an unblemished male.He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the LORD. Aaron’s sons the priests will splatter its blood against the altar on all sides.He will cut the animal into pieces with its head and its fat, and the priest will arrange them on top of the burning wood on the altar.But he is to wash the entrails and legs with water. The priest will then present all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.“ If his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present his offering from the turtledoves or young pigeons.Then the priest is to bring it to the altar, and will twist off its head and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained at the side of the altar.He will remove its digestive tract, cutting off the tail feathers, and throw it on the east side of the altar at the place for ashes.He will tear it open by its wings without dividing the bird. Then the priest is to burn it on the altar on top of the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

You must have an unblemished animal, a year-old male; you may take it from either the sheep or the goats.

Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine; he was a priest to God Most High.He blessed him and said: Abram is blessed by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,and blessed be God Most High who has handed over your enemies to you. And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.Then the king of Sodom said to Abram,“ Give me the people, but take the possessions for yourself.”But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

You do not want a sacrifice, or I would give it; you are not pleased with a burnt offering.The sacrifice pleasing to God is a broken spirit. You will not despise a broken and humbled heart, God.

Then an expert in the law stood up to test him, saying,“ Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

He asked the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? How can I make atonement so that you will bring a blessing on the LORD’s inheritance?”

For this reason I kneel before the Father

He escorted them out and said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
