耶和華將斥責其民以色列族、舉凡山巖岡嶺、地之四維、尚其聽之哉。

惟爾山嶺、與永固之地基、俱當聽主所辯論之言、主將與己民辯論、將指責以色列、

“ Hear, you mountains, the Lord’s accusation; listen, you everlasting foundations of the earth. For the Lord has a case against his people; he is lodging a charge against Israel.

Hear the Lord’ s case, you mountains. Listen, you age- old foundations of the earth. The Lord has a case against his people Israel. He is bringing charges against them.

Hear, you mountains, the indictment of the Lord, and you enduring foundations of the earth, for the Lord has an indictment against his people, and he will contend with Israel.

And now, O mountains, listen to the Lord’s complaint! He has a case against his people. He will bring charges against Israel.

Listen to the LORD’s lawsuit, you mountains and enduring foundations of the earth, because the LORD has a case against his people, and he will argue it against Israel.

Listen, you mountains, to the indictment by the Lord, And you enduring foundations of the earth, Because the Lord has a case against His people; And He will dispute with Israel.

Hear, O you mountains, the LORD’s complaint, And you strong foundations of the earth; For the Lord has a complaint against His people, And He will contend with Israel.

Hear, O ye mountains, Jehovah’s controversy, and ye enduring foundations of the earth; for Jehovah hath a controversy with his people, and he will contend with Israel.

Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.

Hear the LORD’s accusation, you mountains, you enduring foundations of the earth! For the LORD has a case against his people; he has a dispute with Israel!

Hear, you mountains, Yahweh’s controversy, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for Yahweh has a controversy with his people, and he will contend with Israel.

Hear the word of the Lord, people of Israel, for the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land: There is no truth, no faithful love, and no knowledge of God in the land!

The Lord also has a dispute with Judah. He is about to punish Jacob according to his ways; He will repay him based on his actions.

“ Come, let us discuss this,” says the Lord.“ Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will be like wool.

The depths of the sea became visible, the foundations of the world were exposed at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

He established the earth on its foundations; it will never be shaken.

Therefore, I will bring a case against you again. This is the Lord’s declaration. I will bring a case against your children’s children.

I will lead you into the wilderness of the peoples and enter into judgment with you there face to face.Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

when He set a limit for the sea so that the waters would not violate His command, when He laid out the foundations of the earth.

For fire has been kindled because of My anger and burns to the depths of Sheol; it devours the land and its produce, and scorches the foundations of the mountains.

Take Me to court; let us argue our case together. State your case, so that you may be vindicated.

Why do you bring a case against Me? All of you have rebelled against Me. This is the Lord’s declaration.I have struck down your children in vain; they would not accept discipline. Your own sword has devoured your prophets like a ravaging lion.Evil generation, pay attention to the word of the Lord! Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of dense darkness? Why do My people claim,“ We will go where we want; we will no longer come to You”?Can a young woman forget her jewelry or a bride her wedding sash? Yet My people have forgotten Me for countless days.How skillfully you pursue love; you also teach evil women your ways.Moreover, your skirts are stained with the blood of the innocent poor. You did not catch them breaking and entering. But in spite of all these thingsyou claim,“ I am innocent. His anger is sure to turn away from me.” But I will certainly judge you because you have said,“ I have not sinned.”

So now, residents of Jerusalem and men of Judah, please judge between Me and My vineyard.

Then the earth shook and quaked; the foundations of the heavens trembled; they shook because He burned with anger.

This is what the Lord says: If the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below explored, I will reject all of Israel’s descendants because of all they have done— this is the Lord’s declaration.

The tumult reaches to the ends of the earth because the Lord brings a case against the nations. He enters into judgment with all flesh. As for the wicked, He hands them over to the sword— this is the Lord’s declaration.
