爾猶守暗利之陋規、陋規或作惡習原文作律例行亞哈家一切所行、從其所謀、故我必使爾城邑荒蕪、使居民為人所訕笑、我民受辱、爾曹亦必當之、我民受辱爾曹亦必當之有作爾曹必負萬民之恥笑

You have observed the statutes of Omri and all the practices of Ahab’s house; you have followed their traditions. Therefore I will give you over to ruin and your people to derision; you will bear the scorn of the nations.”

You have followed the evil practices of King Omri of Israel. You have done what the family of King Ahab did. You have followed their bad example. So I will let you be destroyed. Others will make fun of you. The nations will laugh at you.”

For you have kept the statutes of Omri, and all the works of the house of Ahab; and you have walked in their counsels, that I may make you a desolation, and your inhabitants a hissing; so you shall bear the scorn of my people.”

You keep only the laws of evil King Omri; you follow only the example of wicked King Ahab! Therefore, I will make an example of you, bringing you to complete ruin. You will be treated with contempt, mocked by all who see you.”

其見異邦人入耶和華聖殿、加以凌辱、則曰、我見之含羞抱愧。

爾祖不傾耳以聽、縱其私欲、輒蹈愆尤、退縮不前。

鄰里凌辱予、同居姍笑予兮、

自昔以來、未有若亞哈、在耶和華前、惟惡是務、為其后耶洗別所慫慂、彼事偶像、乃可惡之事、效尤乎亞摩哩人、耶和華所驅於以色列族前者。

我必使此邑荒蕪、人發怨聲、過斯土者見此鞠凶、則驚愕欷歔不已。

暗利行惡於耶和華前、較前王尤甚、從尼八子耶羅破暗所為、使以色列族陷罪、以其妄行干以色列族之上帝耶和華震怒。暗利事實、及所著大能、備載於以色列王紀畧。暗利既薨、葬於撒馬利亞、其子亞哈即位。○猶大王亞撒三十八年、暗利子亞哈治以色列、在撒馬利亞、凡歷二十二年、行惡於耶和華前、較前王愈甚、從尼八子耶羅破暗所行、猶為細事、乃娶西頓王、謁巴力女、耶洗別為后、遂服事崇拜巴力、在撒馬利亞邑、建巴力殿、內築祭壇、以奉事之、亦作偶像、較以色列前王更甚、干以色列族之上帝耶和華震怒。

耶和華使死無權、歸於消滅、人昔出涕、主為之拭、俾選民不復見辱於天下、蓋耶和華已言之矣。

惡者之謀兮弗從、罪人之途兮弗蹤、侮慢之位不居兮、福祉來降。

我民忘予、焚香以敬偶像、舍平坦之舊道、而不由、行崎嶇之僻路、而顛趾。致其地荒蕪、人恆作怨憤之聲、過之者必愕然駭異、搖首弗已。

訓導斯民者、偏頗是尚、為所蠱惑者、淪胥以亡、

從以色列列王所作、昔異邦之民、行可惡之事、焚獻其子、耶和華當以色列族前逐之、今亞哈士乃效其尤、

予遘災受辱、望耶和華眷顧兮。

其父希西家廢諸崇坵、馬拿西復建之、築祭壇、宗巴力、作偶像、從以色列王亞哈所為、崇拜天象、而服事焉。

昔彼犯罪於我、我使蒙羞、後導之自異邦敵國而至、賜彼安居斯土、不復震驚、尊崇乎我、為列邦目睹、

因猶大族棄我、焚香奉事他上帝、所為干我震怒、故我降災、靡有已時。

適耶洗別欲殲滅耶和華諸先知、阿巴底匿先知百人於巖穴、每穴五十人、以水以餅為其養贍。

凡過此有名之殿宇、必駭異、作怨憤之聲。如有詢及者曰、耶和華毀此殿、害此國也、曷故。

我與我祖陷於罪戾、故耶路撒冷居民、為眾姍笑、今求我主、以恩賚我、息爾憤怒、不罰爾聖山耶路撒冷、

耶和華又告民曰、今日我以生道死道、置於爾前、凡居斯邑者、必遇鋒刃饑饉、瘟疫而亡。凡出邑外、歸誠所攻爾之迦勒底人者、則得保其生命。

耶和華降災於猶大族耶路撒冷民、俾其困苦、人見之駭異、作怨憤之聲、今日之事為證。我諸父見殺、妻孥被虜、悉由此起。

主謂我曰、人子、盍觀猶大人在此所為、深堪痛疾、是非細故、遍行強暴、干我震怒、以枝自塞其鼻、故我怒憤烈、不加矜憫、滅之務盡、彼雖大聲籲呼於上、我必不應。

以法蓮樂從不義之命、故為人虐取、遭人強暴、

爾有可責數事、有婦耶洗別、冒稱先知、誘我僕眾行淫、食祭偶之物、爾竟容之、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率北方之眾、攻斯土之民、及四周鄰國、滅之殆盡、使見之者駭愕、皆作怨聲。
