You will eat but not be satisfied; your stomach will still be empty. You will store up but save nothing, because what you save I will give to the sword.

You will eat. But you will not be satisfied. Your stomachs will still be empty. You will try to save what you can. But you will not be able to. If you do save something, it will be destroyed in battle.

地上的居民哪，恐怖、陷坑和網羅都要臨到你們！那時，逃避恐怖風聲的將掉進陷坑，從陷坑中爬上來的將被網羅纏住；因為天上的窗戶敞開了，大地的根基也震動了。大地全然破壞，徹底崩裂，劇烈搖動。大地搖搖晃晃，好像醉酒的人，又像茅屋搖來搖去。大地的過犯重壓在自己上面，它就塌陷，不能再起來。

人必在他的父家拉住自己的兄弟，說：「你有一件外衣，就作我們的統領吧！這破敗的一攤就歸你手下了。」那時，他兄弟必揚聲說：「我不是包紮者，我家裡沒有糧食，也沒有外衣。你們不要立我作百姓的統領。」耶路撒冷衰敗，猶大傾倒，因為他們的言行敵對耶和華，抗逆他榮耀的臨在。

因此，主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我的僕人們必有吃的，你們卻會挨餓！看哪，我的僕人們必有喝的，你們卻會口渴！看哪，我的僕人們必歡喜，你們卻會蒙羞！

與南地動物有關的默示：他們把財富馱在驢子背上，把寶物馱在駱駝峰上，經過艱難困苦之地，就是公獅、母獅、蝮蛇和會飛的火蛇出沒之地，要到一個無益於他們的民那裡。

他們在右邊割肉，還是飢餓；在左邊吞噬，仍不飽足；各人竟吞噬自己膀臂的肉。
