现在你为什么大声呼喊？难道你们中间没有君王吗？或是你的谋士灭亡了，以致疼痛抓紧你，好像临产的妇人呢？

現在你為何大聲哭號呢？疼痛抓住你彷彿產難的婦人，是因你中間沒有君王嗎？你的謀士滅亡了嗎？

現在，你為何大聲呼喊呢？你中間沒有君王，你的謀士滅絕，以致疼痛抓住你，如臨產的婦人嗎？

現在你為甚麼大聲呼喊？難道你們中間沒有君王嗎？或是你的謀士滅亡了，以致疼痛抓緊你，好像臨產的婦人呢？

如今呢、你為甚麼大聲哭號呢？難道你中間竟沒有王，或是你的謀士都滅亡了，以致產痛抓住了你、像抓住了生產的婦人麼？

今爾何為號呼、爾中無王、爾之謀士隕沒、致爾痛苦、若臨產之婦乎、

爾今何為號呼、若婦將產、艱難勞苦、爾中豈無王公、爾之謀臣、豈盡殞亡、

今爾何為號呼、爾竟若劬勞之產婦、爾竟若劬勞之產婦或作爾竟如婦臨產艱難痛苦爾中豈無君乎、爾之謀士豈盡亡乎、

Why do you now cry aloud— have you no king? Has your ruler perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?

Why are you crying out so loudly now? Don’t you have a king? Has your ruler died? Is that why pain comes on you like the pain of a woman having a baby?

Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pain seized you like a woman in labor?

But why are you now screaming in terror? Have you no king to lead you? Have your wise people all died? Pain has gripped you like a woman in childbirth.

Now, why are you shouting loudly? Is there no king with you? Has your counselor perished so that anguish grips you like a woman in labor?

“ Now, why do you cry out loudly? Is there no king among you, Or has your counselor perished, That agony has gripped you like a woman in childbirth?

Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no king in your midst? Has your counselor perished? For pangs have seized you like a woman in labor.

Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee, is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have taken hold of thee as of a woman in travail?

Now, why are you shouting loudly? Is there no king with you? Has your counselor perished so that anguish grips you like a woman in labor?

Jerusalem, why are you now shouting so loudly? Has your king disappeared? Has your wise leader been destroyed? Is this why pain grips you as if you were a woman in labor?

Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country:[ Is] not the LORD in Zion?[ is] not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images,[ and] with strange vanities?

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.And I will give children[ to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them.And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father,[ saying], Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and[ let] this ruin[ be] under thy hand:In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house[ is] neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces[ shall be as] flames.

Like as a woman with child,[ that] draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain,[ and] crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and[ without] teraphim:

The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen.

Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?Alas! for that day[ is] great, so that none[ is] like it: it[ is] even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing[ of it]; I was dismayed at the seeing[ of it].

For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?

I will be thy king: where[ is any other] that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took[ him] away in my wrath.

O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!

The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him,[ and] pangs as of a woman in travail.

How long shall I see the standard,[ and] hear the sound of the trumpet?
