“ In that coming day,” says the Lord,“ I will gather together those who are lame, those who have been exiles, and those whom I have filled with grief.

耶和華曰、當是日、趑趄者我必招徠之、為人驅逐、及受我譴責者、我必撫恤之、

主曰、當是日跛足者、我必和會、被人驅逐及受我責罰者、我必集聚、

“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.

“ The time is coming when I will gather those who are disabled,” announces the Lord.“ I will bring together those who were taken away as prisoners. I will gather those I have allowed to suffer.

In that day, declares the Lord, I will assemble the lame and gather those who have been driven away and those whom I have afflicted;

On that day— this is the LORD’s declaration— I will assemble the lame and gather the scattered, those I have injured.

“ On that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will assemble those who limp And gather the scattered, Those whom I have afflicted.

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ I will assemble the lame, I will gather the outcast And those whom I have afflicted;

In that day, saith Jehovah, will I assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;

On that day— this is the Lord’s declaration— I will assemble the lame and gather the scattered, those I have injured.

In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

“ In that day,” says the LORD,“ I will gather the lame, and assemble the outcasts whom I injured.

“ In that day,” says Yahweh,“ I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;

And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed.

The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem and bringing the exiles back to Israel.

I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.I will bring them back home to their own land of Israel from among the peoples and nations. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel and by the rivers and in all the places where people live.Yes, I will give them good pastureland on the high hills of Israel. There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in the lush pastures of the hills.I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord.I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak. But I will destroy those who are fat and powerful. I will feed them, yes— feed them justice!“ And as for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to his people: I will judge between one animal of the flock and another, separating the sheep from the goats.

“ Someday, O Israel, I will gather you; I will gather the remnant who are left. I will bring you together again like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture. Yes, your land will again be filled with noisy crowds!

For I will gather you up from all the nations and bring you home again to your land.

I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.“ For you are called an outcast—‘ Jerusalem for whom no one cares.’”This is what the Lord says:“ When I bring Israel home again from captivity and restore their fortunes, Jerusalem will be rebuilt on its ruins, and the palace reconstructed as before.

I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.

In those days the people of Judah and Israel will return together from exile in the north. They will return to the land I gave your ancestors as an inheritance forever.

With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.Say to those with fearful hearts,“ Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf.The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland.

I am on the verge of collapse, facing constant pain.

“ So now, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will end the captivity of my people; I will have mercy on all Israel, for I jealously guard my holy reputation!They will accept responsibility for their past shame and unfaithfulness after they come home to live in peace in their own land, with no one to bother them.When I bring them home from the lands of their enemies, I will display my holiness among them for all the nations to see.Then my people will know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them away to exile and brought them home again. I will leave none of my people behind.And I will never again turn my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit upon the people of Israel. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”

For the Sovereign Lord, who brings back the outcasts of Israel, says: I will bring others, too, besides my people Israel.”

And give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own land from the places where they have been scattered.I will unify them into one nation on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule them all; no longer will they be divided into two nations or into two kingdoms.

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”

So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.

For I will bring them from the north and from the distant corners of the earth. I will not forget the blind and lame, the expectant mothers and women in labor. A great company will return!
