耶和華曰、當是日、趑趄者我必招徠之、為人驅逐、及受我譴責者、我必撫恤之、

主曰、當是日跛足者、我必和會、被人驅逐及受我責罰者、我必集聚、

“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.

“ The time is coming when I will gather those who are disabled,” announces the Lord.“ I will bring together those who were taken away as prisoners. I will gather those I have allowed to suffer.

In that day, declares the Lord, I will assemble the lame and gather those who have been driven away and those whom I have afflicted;

“ In that coming day,” says the Lord,“ I will gather together those who are lame, those who have been exiles, and those whom I have filled with grief.

On that day— this is the LORD’s declaration— I will assemble the lame and gather the scattered, those I have injured.

“ On that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will assemble those who limp And gather the scattered, Those whom I have afflicted.

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ I will assemble the lame, I will gather the outcast And those whom I have afflicted;

In that day, saith Jehovah, will I assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;

On that day— this is the Lord’s declaration— I will assemble the lame and gather the scattered, those I have injured.

In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

“ In that day,” says Yahweh,“ I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;

Look, at that time I will deal with those who mistreated you. I will rescue the lame sheep and gather together the scattered sheep. I will take away their humiliation and make the whole earth admire and respect them.

The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, and gathers the exiles of Israel.

As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will seek out my flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a cloudy, dark day.I will bring them out from among the peoples and gather them from foreign countries; I will bring them to their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams and all the inhabited places of the land.In a good pasture I will feed them; the mountain heights of Israel will be their pasture. There they will lie down in a lush pasture, and they will feed on rich grass on the mountains of Israel.I myself will feed my sheep and I myself will make them lie down, declares the sovereign LORD.I will seek the lost and bring back the strays; I will bandage the injured and strengthen the sick, but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them– with judgment!“‘ As for you, my sheep, this is what the sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to judge between one sheep and another, between rams and goats.

I will certainly gather all of you, O Jacob, I will certainly assemble those Israelites who remain. I will bring them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in the middle of a pasture; they will be so numerous that they will make a lot of noise.

“‘ I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries; then I will bring you to your land.

Yes, I will restore you to health. I will heal your wounds. I, the LORD, affirm it! For you have been called an outcast, Zion, whom no one cares for.”The LORD says,“ I will restore the ruined houses of the descendants of Jacob. I will show compassion on their ruined homes. Every city will be rebuilt on its former ruins. Every fortified dwelling will occupy its traditional site.

I have other sheep that do not come from this sheepfold. I must bring them too, and they will listen to my voice, so that there will be one flock and one shepherd.

At that time the nation of Judah and the nation of Israel will be reunited. Together they will come back from a land in the north to the land that I gave to your ancestors as a permanent possession.”

Strengthen the hands that have gone limp, steady the knees that shake!Tell those who panic,“ Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”Then blind eyes will open, deaf ears will hear.Then the lame will leap like a deer, the mute tongue will shout for joy; for water will flow in the desert, streams in the wilderness.

For I am about to stumble, and I am in constant pain.

“ Therefore this is what the sovereign LORD says: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob, and I will have mercy on the entire house of Israel. I will be zealous for my holy name.They will bear their shame for all their unfaithful acts against me, when they live securely on their land with no one to make them afraid.When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will magnify myself among them in the sight of many nations.Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will not leave any of them in exile any longer.I will no longer hide my face from them, when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD.”

The sovereign LORD says this, the one who gathers the dispersed of Israel:“ I will still gather them up.”

Then tell them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to take the Israelites from among the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from round about and bring them to their land.I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over them all. They will never again be two nations and never again be divided into two kingdoms.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Therefore, strengthen your listless hands and your weak knees,and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but be healed.

Then I will reply,‘ I will bring them back from the land of the north. I will gather them in from the distant parts of the earth. Blind and lame people will come with them, so will pregnant women and women about to give birth. A vast throng of people will come back here.
