Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the Lord Almighty has spoken.

Everyone will have their own vine and fig tree. And no one will make them afraid. That’s what the Lord who rules over all has promised.

but they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.

Everyone will live in peace and prosperity, enjoying their own grapevines and fig trees, for there will be nothing to fear. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has made this promise!

那麼，你就必以永恆主為有樂趣；永恆主就必使你乘駕地之山丘；將你祖雅各的產業餵養你了：這是永恆主親口說的。』

永恆主的榮耀必然顯現；血肉之人必都一齊看見，因為永恆主親口說了。』

他們在他們本地安然居住、不被驚嚇的時候，就必忘卻他們所受的羞辱、和他們對我不忠實的罪；

我必賜平安興隆於境內；你們躺臥，必沒有人驚嚇你們；我必使惡獸從你們境內絕跡；刀劍也不會經過你們的地。

他們必不再做外國人的掠物，地上的野獸必不再吞喫他們；他們卻要安然居住，也沒有人驚嚇他們。

你必靠着公義而得堅立，遠離害怕欺壓的心，因為你不必懼怕；遠離驚慌；因為驚慌不會臨近你。

說：「我要上去攻擊那無城牆的鄉村地；我要去攻擊那安然居住的安靜人；他們都住在沒有城牆的地方；門閂門扇都沒有」；

『我必跟他們立個平安興隆之約；我必使惡獸從境內絕跡，他們就可以在曠野安然居住，在森林中平平安安地睡覺。

永恆主啊，我們在急難中探求了你；你的懲罰臨到我們身上時，我們傾吐了低聲的禱告。

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必給大衛興起一個憑義氣救人的苗裔；他必掌王權，精明而亨通，在國中秉公而行義。當他執政的日子猶大必得救，以色列必安然居住；那時他必稱為「永恆主使我們得勝的義氣」：這就是他的名字。
