“ In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

Yet her profit and her earnings will be set apart for the Lord; they will not be stored up or hoarded. Her profits will go to those who live before the Lord, for abundant food and fine clothes.

Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring you gifts.

At that time gifts will be brought to the Lord Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers— the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the Lord Almighty.

Their arrows are sharp, all their bows are strung; their horses’ hooves seem like flint, their chariot wheels like a whirlwind.

The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which mauls and mangles as it goes, and no one can rescue.Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies, and all your foes will be destroyed.“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will destroy your horses from among you and demolish your chariots.I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.I will destroy your idols and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles when I demolish your cities.I will take vengeance in anger and wrath on the nations that have not obeyed me.”

But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and make you like a warrior’s sword.Then the Lord will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south,and the Lord Almighty will shield them. They will destroy and overcome with slingstones. They will drink and roar as with wine; they will be full like a bowl used for sprinkling the corners of the altar.

May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores bring tribute to him. May the kings of Sheba and Seba present him gifts.

All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.”

The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.
