Therefore night[ shall be] unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

爾將遇昏夜、不見異象、遘晦冥、不得卜筮、日必沒於先知之上、晝變為暗、

爾必遭昏夜、不睹光明、不見異象、不能占驗、日必沉西、晝變晦冥、以罰偽先知焉、

爾必遭昏黑、如在夜中、不復得默示、必遭幽暗、不能復卜筮、彼偽先知、必覺如日已沈西、白晝已變晦冥、

Therefore night will come over you, without visions, and darkness, without divination. The sun will set for the prophets, and the day will go dark for them.

So night will come on the prophets. But they will not have any visions. Darkness will cover them. But they will not be able to figure out what is going to happen. The sun will set on the prophets. The day will become dark for them.

Therefore it shall be night to you, without vision, and darkness to you, without divination. The sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be black over them;

Now the night will close around you, cutting off all your visions. Darkness will cover you, putting an end to your predictions. The sun will set for you prophets, and your day will come to an end.

Therefore, it will be night for you— without visions; it will grow dark for you— without divination. The sun will set on these prophets, and the daylight will turn black over them.

Therefore it will be night for you— without vision, And darkness for you— without divination. The sun will go down on the prophets, And the day will become dark over them.

“ Therefore you shall have night without vision, And you shall have darkness without divination; The sun shall go down on the prophets, And the day shall be dark for them.

Therefore night will fall, and you will receive no visions; it will grow dark, and you will no longer be able to read the omens. The sun will set on these prophets, and the daylight will turn to darkness over their heads.

“ Therefore night is over you, with no vision, and it is dark to you, that you may not divine; and the sun will go down on the prophets, and the day will be black over them.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word,[ it is] because[ there is] no light in them.And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and[ they shall be] driven to darkness.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only[ son], and the end thereof as a bitter day.

For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if[ we had] no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night;[ we are] in desolate places as dead[ men].

Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while[ it was] yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts,[ that] I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.And it shall come to pass,[ that] when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:

We see not our signs:[ there is] no more any prophet: neither[ is there] among us any that knoweth how long.

Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death,[ and] make[ it] gross darkness.
