In that day shall they take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We are utterly ruined: he changeth the portion of my people: how doth he remove it from me! to the rebellious he divideth our fields.

到那日，必有人向你们提起悲惨的哀歌，讥刺说：‘我们全然败落了！耶和华将我们的份转归别人，何竟使这份离开我们？他将我们的田地分给悖逆的人。’

到那日，必有人为你们唱诗歌，用悲哀的哀歌哀号，说：“我们全然败落，我百姓的产业易主了！耶和华竟然使它离开我，我们的田地为悖逆的人所瓜分了！”

到那日，必有人为你们唱诗歌，用悲哀的哀歌哀号，说：“我们全然败落，我百姓的产业易主了！耶和华竟然使它离开我，我们的田地为悖逆的人所瓜分了！”

到那日，人们要唱哀歌讥讽你们说，‘我们彻底完了，耶和华把我们的产业转给别人。祂竟拿走我们的产业，把田地分给掳掠我们的人。’”

到那日，必有人作歌讽刺你们，唱悲伤的哀歌，说：“我们彻底被毁灭了，我子民分内的产业，他竟转给别人了；他怎可从我这里挪去，把我们的田地分给掳掠我们的人（“分给掳掠我们的人”或译：“分给背道的人”）！”

到那日，必有人向你們提起悲慘的哀歌，譏刺說：我們全然敗落了！耶和華將我們的分轉歸別人，何竟使這分離開我們？他將我們的田地分給悖逆的人。

到那日，必有人為你們唱詩歌，用悲哀的哀歌哀號，說：「我們全然敗落，我百姓的產業易主了！耶和華竟然使它離開我，我們的田地為悖逆的人所瓜分了！」

到那日，必有人為你們唱詩歌，用悲哀的哀歌哀號，說：「我們全然敗落，我百姓的產業易主了！耶和華竟然使它離開我，我們的田地為悖逆的人所瓜分了！」

到那日，人們要唱哀歌譏諷你們說，『我們徹底完了，耶和華把我們的產業轉給別人。祂竟拿走我們的產業，把田地分給擄掠我們的人。』」

當那日必有人發表嘲弄歌來譏笑你們，必有人唱起悲慘的哀歌，說：『我們徹底被毁滅了；我人民的業分、他竟轉換給人了；他怎樣從我手裏挪去啊！他把我們的田地分給擄掠我們的人了。』

是日也、人將為爾作諷詞、發悲慘之哀歌曰、我儕悉敗、彼移我民之業、使其離我、以我田畝、分予悖逆之人、

當日人將為爾作哀歌、吟悲詞云、我民之業、為他人有、維彼敵人、得我田疇、我儕小民、渝胥以亡、

當是日人將為爾曹作諷歌、為爾曹作悲痛之哀歌云、我儕盡敗亡、敗亡或作衰敗彼使我民之業、為他人所得、使我民之業為他人所得原文作變我民之業使我所有、俱與我離、以我田疇、分予悖逆者、

In that day people will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song:‘ We are utterly ruined; my people’s possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.’”

At that time people will make fun of you. They will tease you by singing a song of sadness. They will pretend to be you and say,‘ We are totally destroyed. Our enemies have divided up our land. The Lord has taken it away from us! He has given our fields to those who turned against us.’ ”

In that day they shall take up a taunt song against you and moan bitterly, and say,“ We are utterly ruined; he changes the portion of my people; how he removes it from me! To an apostate he allots our fields.”

In that day your enemies will make fun of you by singing this song of despair about you:“ We are finished, completely ruined! God has confiscated our land, taking it from us. He has given our fields to those who betrayed us.”

In that day one will take up a taunt against you and lament mournfully, saying,“ We are totally ruined! He measures out the allotted land of my people. How he removes it from me! He allots our fields to traitors.”

On that day they will take up against you a song of mocking And utter a song of mourning and say,‘ We are completely destroyed! He exchanges the share of my people; How He removes it from me! To the apostate He apportions our fields.’

In that day one shall take up a proverb against you, And lament with a bitter lamentation, saying:‘ We are utterly destroyed! He has changed the heritage of my people; How He has removed it from me! To a turncoat He has divided our fields.’”

In that day one will take up a taunt against you, and lament mournfully, saying,“ We are totally ruined! He measures out the allotted land of my people. How He removes it from me! He allots our fields to traitors.”

In that day shall[ one] take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation,[ and] say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed[ it] from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.

In that day people will sing this taunt song to you– they will mock you with this lament:‘ We are completely destroyed; they sell off the property of my people. How they remove it from me! They assign our fields to the conqueror.’

In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying,‘ We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”

Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and that ladeth himself with pledges!

The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.

I will yet bring unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess thee: the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.

For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the pastures of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none passeth through; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the birds of the heavens and the beasts are fled, they are gone.

and thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and robbed alway, and there shall be none to save thee.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for the skilful women, that they may come:and let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we ruined! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because they have cast down our dwellings.Yet hear the word of Jehovah, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth; and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbor lamentation.For death is come up into our windows, it is entered into our palaces; to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.

And he took up his parable, and said, From Aram hath Balak brought me, The king of Moab from the mountains of the East: Come, curse me Jacob, And come, defy Israel.

Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste,

And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:to fulfil the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths: for as long as it lay desolate it kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

I will utterly consume all things from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah.

And they sought to lay hold on him; and they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spake the parable against them: and they left him, and went away.

And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; Hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:

Gird yourselves with sackcloth, and lament, ye priests; wail, ye ministers of the altar; come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meal- offering and the drink- offering are withholden from the house of your God.

And in all vineyards shall be wailing; for I will pass through the midst of thee, saith Jehovah.

until Jehovah removed Israel out of his sight, as he spake by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Avva, and from Hamath and Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith Jehovah, and I will send unto Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith;

And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations unto this day; and they made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

And Job again took up his parable, and said,

And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son

How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! She is become as a widow, that was great among the nations! She that was a princess among the provinces is become tributary!She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks; Among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; they are become her enemies.Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude; She dwelleth among the nations, she findeth no rest: All her persecutors overtook her within the straits.The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn assembly; All her gates are desolate, her priests do sigh: Her virgins are afflicted, and she herself is in bitterness.Her adversaries are become the head, her enemies prosper; For Jehovah hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: Her young children are gone into captivity before the adversary.

Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as the whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are ruined.

that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

O Jehovah, why dost thou make us to err from thy ways, and hardenest our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.Thy holy people possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.

If I go forth into the field, then, behold, the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then, behold, they that are sick with famine! for both the prophet and the priest go about in the land, and have no knowledge.

And he spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Hear ye this word which I take up for a lamentation over you, O house of Israel.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith;

Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your resting- place; because of uncleanness that destroyeth, even with a grievous destruction.
