借此，雅各家的罪恶必得到赦免，他们罪恶被除掉后所结的果实是：打碎假神祭坛的石头，推倒亚舍拉神像和香坛。

我焚烧了你们铸造的罪恶之物——牛犊像，把它磨成细粉，撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。

他砸碎神柱，砍倒亚舍拉神像，用死人骨头填满那些地方。他拆掉伯特利高岗上的祭坛，即尼八的儿子耶罗波安诱使以色列人犯罪时建造的祭坛，把祭坛烧毁，捣碎成灰，又焚烧亚舍拉神像。

我要毁灭你们的丘坛，拆掉你们的香坛，把你们的尸体堆在你们毫无气息的神像上。我厌恶你们。

“那些曾与她通奸享乐的君王目睹焚烧她的烟，必为她哭泣哀号。

当一切都办妥后，所有在场的以色列人就前往犹大各城邑，打碎神柱，砍倒亚舍拉神像，又拆毁犹大、便雅悯、以法莲、玛拿西境内所有的丘坛和祭坛，然后各自返回自己的城邑和家园。
