Look, the LORD is leaving his place and coming down to trample the heights of the earth.

Look! The Lord is coming from his dwelling place; he comes down and treads on the heights of the earth.

The Lord is about to come down from his home in heaven. He rules over even the highest places on earth.

For behold, the Lord is coming out of his place, and will come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Look! The Lord is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.

For, behold, Yahweh comes out of his place, and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.

He is here: the one who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, the one who makes the dawn out of darkness and strides on the heights of the earth. The LORD, the God of Armies, is his name.

For look, the LORD is coming from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth will reveal the blood shed on it and will no longer conceal her slain.

He made him ride on the heights of the land and eat the produce of the field. He nourished him with honey from the rock and oil from flinty rock,

Our God is in heaven and does whatever he pleases.

For the LORD’s power will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trampled in a dung pile.

If only you would tear the heavens open and come down, so that mountains would quake at your presence—just as fire kindles brushwood, and fire boils water— to make your name known to your enemies, so that nations would tremble at your presence!

How happy you are, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is the shield that protects you, the sword you boast in. Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread on their backs.

Go into the rocks and hide in the dust from the terror of the LORD and from his majestic splendor.The pride of mankind will be humbled, and human loftiness will be brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted on that day.For a day belonging to the LORD of Armies is coming against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up— it will be humbled—against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan,against all the high mountains, against all the lofty hills,against every high tower, against every fortified wall,against every ship of Tarshish, and against every splendid sea vessel.The pride of mankind will be brought low, and human loftiness will be humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted on that day.The worthless idols will vanish completely.People will go into caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, away from the terror of the LORD and from his majestic splendor, when he rises to terrify the earth.
