For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

看哪，耶和华出了他的居所，降临步行地的高处。

Look! The Lord is coming from his dwelling place; he comes down and treads on the heights of the earth.

The Lord is about to come down from his home in heaven. He rules over even the highest places on earth.

For behold, the Lord is coming out of his place, and will come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Look! The Lord is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.

Look, the LORD is leaving his place and coming down to trample the heights of the earth.

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought; that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the Earth— Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.

For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.The lofty looks of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall,and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant imagery.And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.And the idols shall utterly pass away.And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.

I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there shall be none to deliver.I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.

Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.

Jehovah, the Lord, is my strength; And he maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, And will make me to walk upon my high places.
