行時、見亞勒腓之子利未坐於稅關、謂之曰、從我、遂起從之、耶穌席坐於其家、諸稅吏及罪人、與耶穌並其徒同坐、蓋從之者眾也、法利賽人之士子、見耶穌與罪人稅吏共食、語其徒曰、彼與稅吏罪人飲食也、耶穌聞之曰、健者不需醫、惟病者需之、我來、非召義人、乃召罪人耳、○適約翰之徒、與法利賽人禁食、或就耶穌曰、約翰之徒、與法利賽人之徒禁食、爾徒獨不禁食何也、耶穌曰、新娶者偕在、賀婚者能禁食乎、新娶者尚在、不能禁食也、惟日將至、新娶者見接而去、乃禁食耳、未有以新布補舊衣者、若然、則所補之新者裂其舊者、其綻尤甚、亦未有以新酒注舊革囊者、若然、則酒必裂囊、酒與囊俱敗、惟以新酒注於新囊焉、○

有撒該者、為稅吏長而富、欲識耶穌為何人、以人眾而不得見、身短故也、遂趨前升桑、以其必過此也、耶穌至、仰視之、曰、撒該速下、今日我將主爾家、遂亟下、喜接之、眾見之、訾議曰、彼往寓罪人之家矣、撒該立而謂主曰、主歟、我以所有之半濟貧、若誣詐人者、則四倍償之、耶穌曰、今日拯救臨此家矣、以其亦為亞伯拉罕之裔也、蓋人子至、為尋救失亡之人耳、○

耶穌經行加利利海濱、見兄弟二人、乃西門稱彼得者、與其弟安得烈、施網於海、蓋漁者也、謂之曰、從我、我將使爾為漁人者焉、即舍網從之、由此而前、又見兄弟二人、乃西庇太之子雅各與其弟約翰、偕父在舟補網、招之、即舍舟別父而從焉、○

入城、則登所居之樓、有若彼得、約翰、雅各、安得烈、腓力、多馬、巴多羅買、馬太、亞勒腓子雅各、稱銳之西門、雅各之子猶大、

以利亞遂去彼、遇沙法子以利沙耕於田、其前有牛十二雙、以利沙御其最後者、以利亞過之、以己衣置於其身、乃棄牛、趨於以利亞後、曰、請容我與父母接吻、後必從爾、曰、歸哉、我於爾何為乎、遂離之而歸、取牛一雙宰之、以駕牛之具烹其肉、與民食之、乃起、從以利亞、而服事之、

眾稅吏與罪人、就聽耶穌、法利賽人與士子、咸訾議曰、彼納罪人而共食焉、

樂以其子啟示我衷、使宣之於異邦、我即不謀於有血氣者、

二者孰遵父旨乎、曰、長子、耶穌曰、我誠語汝、稅吏娼妓、先爾入上帝國矣、蓋約翰由義路就爾、爾不之信、而稅吏娼妓信之、且爾見此、後仍不悔以信也、○
