But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”– then he said to the paralytic–“ Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.”

不过为要使你们知道人子在地上有赦免罪的权柄——”于是他对瘫痪的人说：“起来，拿起你的床榻，回家去吧！”

但令爾知人子在世、有權以赦罪耳、遂語癱瘓者曰、起、取牀以歸、

但令爾知、人子在地、有權以赦罪耳、遂語癱瘋者曰、起、取床以歸、

今特令爾知、人子在世有權赦罪、遂語癱瘓者曰、起、取爾床床或作臥具以歸爾家、

第欲爾知人子在世、自有赦罪之權耳。』乃謂痿者曰：『起、攜榻而歸。』

But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man,“ Get up, take your mat and go home.”

So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent me, I also send you.”And after he said this, he breathed on them and said,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; if you retain anyone’s sins, they are retained.”

Which is easier, to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven’ or to say,‘ Stand up and walk’?

I, I am the one who blots out your rebellious deeds for my sake; your sins I do not remember.

They continued to stone Stephen while he prayed,“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he died.

If you forgive anyone for anything, I also forgive him– for indeed what I have forgiven( if I have forgiven anything) I did so for you in the presence of Christ,

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,”– he said to the paralytic–

just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.

Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.

“ Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.

There is no other God like you! You forgive sin and pardon the rebellion of those who remain among your people. You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.

Then the experts in the law and the Pharisees began to think to themselves,“ Who is this man who is uttering blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

and a woman was there who had been disabled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten herself up completely.When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said,“ Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”Then he placed his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand.

Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Get up and make your own bed!” And immediately he got up.

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God!”
