不过为要使你们知道人子在地上有赦免罪的权柄——”于是他对瘫痪的人说：“起来，拿起你的床榻，回家去吧！”

但令爾知人子在世、有權以赦罪耳、遂語癱瘓者曰、起、取牀以歸、

但令爾知、人子在地、有權以赦罪耳、遂語癱瘋者曰、起、取床以歸、

今特令爾知、人子在世有權赦罪、遂語癱瘓者曰、起、取爾床床或作臥具以歸爾家、

第欲爾知人子在世、自有赦罪之權耳。』乃謂痿者曰：『起、攜榻而歸。』

But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man,“ Get up, take your mat and go home.”

So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— then He* said to the paralyzed man,“ Get up, pick up your stretcher and go home.”

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”— then He said to the paralytic,“ Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.

But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— then He told the paralytic,“ Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom he wants.The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I also send you.”After saying this, he breathed on them and said,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

For which is easier: to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?

“ I am the one, I sweep away your transgressions for my own sake and remember your sins no more.

While they were stoning Stephen, he called out,“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”He knelt down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” And after saying this, he fell asleep.

Anyone you forgive, I do too. For what I have forgiven— if I have forgiven anything— it is for your benefit in the presence of Christ,

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he told the paralytic—

since you gave him authority over all people, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.

And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.

“ Why does he speak like this? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

God exalted this man to his right hand as ruler and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive.

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.

Then the scribes and the Pharisees began to think to themselves,“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

a woman was there who had been disabled by a spirit for over eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all.When Jesus saw her, he called out to her,“ Woman, you are free of your disability.”Then he laid his hands on her, and instantly she was restored and began to glorify God.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.

Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed,” and immediately he got up.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God.”
