And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Which is easier, to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Rise up and walk’?But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”— He said to the man who was paralyzed,“ I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

Then Peter said,“ Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them— walking, leaping, and praising God.And all the people saw him walking and praising God.Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed.

And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,said with a loud voice,“ Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language,“ The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!”

And Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
