Then He* said to His disciples,“ The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Then Jesus said to his disciples,“ The harvest is huge. But there are only a few workers.

And He was saying to them,“ The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

And He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Do you not say,‘ There are still four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields, that they are white for harvest.Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps may rejoice together.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and pleading with him, and saying,“ Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—

The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim good news are a great army:

The elders who lead well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.

But we ask you, brothers and sisters, to recognize those who diligently labor among you and are in leadership over you in the Lord, and give you instruction,and that you regard them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another.

and also Jesus who is called Justus; these are the only fellow workers for the kingdom of God who are from the circumcision, and they have proved to be an encouragement to me.

But I hope, in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy to you shortly, so that I also may be encouraged when I learn of your condition.For I have no one else of kindred spirit who will genuinely be concerned for your welfare.For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus.

for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.”
