Then he said to his disciples,“ The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;

Then he said to his disciples,“ The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

Then Jesus said to his disciples,“ The harvest is huge. But there are only a few workers.

For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

And he said to them,“ Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

Do you not say,‘ There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying,“ Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

The Lord gives the word; the women who announce the news are a great host:

Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.

We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

and Jesus who is called Justus. These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be cheered by news of you.For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.”
