耶穌走遍全加利利，在他們的會堂裡教導人，傳天國的福音，並且使民中各樣的疾病和各樣的症狀痊癒。他的消息就在全敘利亞省傳開了。人們把所有的病人，就是患各種疾病的、受疼痛折磨的、有鬼魔附身的、癲癇的、癱瘓的，都帶到耶穌那裡。耶穌就使他們痊癒。

但是耶穌對他們說：「我還必須到別的城去傳神國的福音，因為我是為此奉差派的。」於是耶穌繼續在加利利地區的各會堂裡傳道。

耶穌走遍許多城鎮、鄉村教導人，並繼續往耶路撒冷前行。

「各位以色列人哪，請聽這些話：拿撒勒人耶穌是神向你們所證實的人；神藉著他在你們中間行了大能、神蹟和奇事，正如你們自己所知道的。

就是神怎樣以聖靈和能力膏立拿撒勒人耶穌，他走遍各地行善，使所有受魔鬼壓制的人痊癒，因為神與他同在。

當耶穌吩咐完了他的十二個門徒，就離開了那裡，到各城鎮去傳道、教導人。

就是：瞎眼的得以看見，瘸腿的行走，痲瘋病人被潔淨，耳聾的聽見，死人得以復活，窮人得以聽到福音。

因為他們的不信，耶穌十分感慨。於是，他就走遍各村莊四處教導人。

到了傍晚，日落的時候，人們帶著所有患病的、有鬼魔附身的，到耶穌那裡去。全城的人都聚集在門前。耶穌就使許多患有各種疾病的人痊癒，又驅趕了很多鬼魔。他不准鬼魔說話，因為那些鬼魔知道他是誰。大清早，天還沒亮，耶穌就起來，走出去，到一個荒僻的地方，在那裡禱告。西門和那些與他在一起的人去尋找耶穌，找到了，就對他說：「大家都在找你呢！」耶穌對他們說：「我們往別的地方去，到鄰近的鄉村去吧。我也好在那裡傳道，因為我是為此而來的。」於是耶穌在全加利利往來，在他們的會堂裡傳道，並且驅趕鬼魔。

無論耶穌進到哪裡，或村莊、或城鎮、或鄉下，人們就把病人放在街市上，懇求耶穌只要讓他們摸一下他的衣服穗子。凡是摸著的人，都得了救治。
